Lovely!

Staff were super helpful and kind when I left my key and a friend's hotel.

The floor had sawdust on it and I thought that it may be cleaned and it wasn't. But rest of room, linen etc was impeccable.

No air conditioning, but the two quiet fans kept the room comfortable.

It could have been worse.

We loved the location and the warmly welcoming staff. It was clean.Parking (paid) was nearby and there were plenty of bars and restaurants nearby as well

The facilities were basic: no tea/coffee ,no bathroom consumables, no fridge, kettle toaster, the beds were average, pillows minimal, Absolutely no frills

Beautiful hotel right across from the Chateau

I got a room on the top of the hotel, with a beautiful view towards the Chateau. Very nice and spacious indeed, and I slept very well on the comfortable bed. The hotel is right in the middle of everything, with the town centre and restaurants 5-10 minutes walk away.

The breakfast was nice - paid for separately - but felt underwhelming. Also - note for the ones less sporty: There is no elevator, and you will need to carry bags up the stairs. No problem for me, but just a heads-up for people less mobile.

Wonderful stay in Fontainebleau

The location is excellent - literally right next to the chateau and the theatre. Many restaurants in walking distance, which had amazing offerings. The room was lovely, and the shower ample, which is a nice change from the usual small cubicles! Breakfast was really good. We'll definitely return!

Proximity to family. Didn’t feel I was paying for extras I didn’t need. Not disturbed by Other guests.

Room felt a little on the small side, eg stubbed my toe as gap between corner of bed and chair was tight. No lift and I was on 3rd floor.

location is excellent. if travelling by car, the car park at the top of three road is €21 for 48 hours

Rooms very small. Bath with overhead shower. No air con, only a fan and the window opens onto a noisy Street. Breakfast is to be avoided. Very little choice, and on last day, stale bread. Cheap produce at top rate prices.

Fantastic place to stay while exploring Fontainebleau.

I only stayed one night but I love this hotel. The location was fantastic, practically opposite the entrance to the Château and the bus stop to the train station. Comfortable and clean room with an excellent view.

Beautiful French hotel in the heart of Fontainebleau with lovely staff members and an excellent vibe.

The property was easy to find, central, stunning and very comfortable.

It didn’t bother us, but there doesn’t seem to be a lift and the stairs are quite steep. Lugging the suitcases up and down could be difficult for some people.

A Hidden Gem

Family of 3 sharing a room. Big room as a result. Comfortable beds, clean, and quiet although we were facing the street. A simple room but clean and comfortable. Everything else you need is around you in the town. It is a very central location 1m from the chateau and shops. There is also a lovely continental breakfast with plentiful coffee, lots of options and fresh bread - all served in their restaurant downstairs. So not a sterile hotel restaurant experience - rather a lovely cafe experience. Very relaxed.

We had a hire car to park and the hotel has no parking, but there is street parking around, and nearby paid secure parking. The tactic is to arrive and put the car in paid parking and then late in the evening or early money put the car onto free street parking.
