Wonderful charming stay.

We stayed for one night and the location was excellent. The Château de Fontainebleau is just across the road from the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to visit. It was also lovely to stroll through the town centre and browse the shops.

Extremely clean and in a great location. Lots of amenities and restaurants near by. Really in the heart of Fontainebleau.

The hotel charged us €50 per person per day security which was taken which was never heard of. For 3 nights stay a sum of €300 was added on top of the room charge from the credit card. It was not mentioned on the description and were taken by surprise. The city tax was also not mentioned at the beginning until we checked out.

Overall, I would recommend staying at this hotel.

Very authentic French atmosphere. Breakfasts were quite good. You can ask for freshly prepared omelettes or scrambled eggs—these weren't advertised explicitly, but they happily provided them without extra charge. Great location! Just outside the entrance to the Chateau.

Air conditioning wasn’t working, which was uncomfortable due to the hot and humid weather. However, the staff was transparent about this issue, and it didn’t significantly affect our stay. Parking is paid and located near the Carousel—it took us several circles around the city to find it. If you're travelling from Paris, taking a cab might be more convenient. The fresh orange juice at breakfast tasted slightly stale.

Excellent location, friendly staff, and great breakfast We had a lovely stay! The hotel is perfectly located right in the city center, close to everything. The staff were kind and welcoming, and the breakfast was both varied and delicious. The bathroom was spacious, bright, and very clean. There’s also a nearby parking garage, and hotel guests can get a discount on the parking fee. Highly recommended!

Location and the decoration on the hotel and the rooms. Light and opening windows. Slso it had a lift.

There was no furniture with shelfs or drows to put your clothing. Only one big old cabinet with few coat hungers. So for the people who wants to settle having spending more than one night the only option was to bend everytime to fetch your fresh socks or undies from the suitcase wich had to be put on the floor as the hotel also doesnt provide a suitcase rack. So one has to lift the entire suitcase and throw it on top of the bed or leave it on the floor and bend each time you need to dig out what you need. The room had a air con duct but wasnt working ( for the entire hotel rooms) and at the 27 degrees getting very hot. We were provided with a standing fan . There was no hooks to hang towels to dry after use. Placing them on the little rack in the bathroom was ok when they were dry and folded on arrival but not when are wet. This cause to having to replace them every day which is a shame when other hotels sim to saving this changing everyday. No bin in the room for rubish such as wrappings, shopping paper bags or perishables rubish.

Booking restaurants in town for non-French speakers is very challenging, and the concierge was not very helpful at this (only made one call to a restaurant, if not available basically good luck). We visited other places in France in this trip, and we had much better experiences elsewhere.

Excellent location steps to the chateau, lots of great restaurants nearby.

We arrived off the plane from North America, so weren’t completely awake as we arrived early. There does not seem to be a way to drive up to the door to drop off luggage, but I eventually found a place to leave the close enough to get our luggage to the reception area. They held it for us while went to park the car & go for lunch. Our room was ready early, once we completed lunch. Steps to the chateau, the garden. The open air market (Friday morning) was close & a treat.
