Very comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The location is on a quiet back street, and also close to the centre of town.

There wasn’t a covered area outside where I could smoke and be protected from the rain.

A lovely hotel, we felt very welcome but the standards were not there.

Just a few steps away from the Castle and Town centre. A contemporary design and bathed in light with numerous windows and internal patio. A good restaurant and friendly staff.

VERY POOR management. Dirty towels left in bathroom discovered upon our check in. No dressing gown or slippers despite a superior room until we requested. We then discovered that there wasn’t even mattress cover! What about the hygiene? Door key not working on two consecutive days. A broken bedside light and a broken bedside drawer which rather than being repaired had been blocked with a screw which was half sticking out and a danger. We requested breakfast in our bedroom. There was no menu or any assistance as to what we could order. When it arrived there was nothing to put on the pancakes and no sugar for the coffee. The hotel has the most enormous potential but is not managed to the level expected. The staff charming but junior and clearly not trained to the correct level. A true shame not to ensure that it meets expectations for a 4 star hotel.

Perfect quiet stay in a refined hotel steps away from Chateau Fontainebleau

Everything : The entrance and surroundings, the spacious and clean room with amazing pillows and view on the courtyard, and the breakfast : we hesitated to take it because former less good comments, and it was amaizing with waffles, pancakes, smoked salmon etc. And perfectly located in the centre and 100m from the chateau whilst still being perfectly calm and quiet at night.

Nothing. The only thing that could be upgraded was the outside seating for l’apero etc, a bit more cosy

Beautiful hotel in a great location!

Beautiful accommodations and very helpful staff. Even came out to the parking lot and helped us figure out the parking meters, which would not recognize our credit card.

Rooms are not clean, molds in bathroom. Breakfast is a waste of money, selection is poor and service often awful. English language is hardly spoken.

Great location.

Hotel is in a fantastic position for visiting the Chateau and gardens. Nice restaurant for dinner. Do book in advance.

Breakfast was poor. All self service and you had to walk bad and forth fetching plates and glasses from your table rather than them being at the buffet which was inconvenient. Request for a cappuccino was declined. Room door locks need attention as you had to slam the door shut to get it to close.

I would avoid if possible

The location was near the chateau, in the center of the town.

This hotel totally lacks character. The room where we were needs upgrading. We were traveling for 5 days around burgundy vineyards and his place was the least interesting and comfortable of all other places we stayed in. Besides, it was the most expensive of all the places we stayed at. I would not recommend

Beautiful hotel in a great place and with wonderful staff - but someone seems not to listen.

This hotel is adjacent to the gardens of Château de Fontainebleau. Very elegant and decorated with excellent taste, it breathes a feeling of comfortable luxury. Reception staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and just super-nice to deal with. Wonderful conversations! Our room was a bit too small but otherwise had all the amenities you can expect from a 4-star hotel. Most importantly (to me anyway): the shower worked perfectly. The hotel had sent us an email a coupe of days prior to our arrival saying that the air conditioning was broken. We accepted anyway but yes, it was too hot.

Do not expect anything else than typical French breakfast. You'll have to order (instead of grabbing it from the buffet) your coffee, orange juice or glass of water. For free, but still... But what really made the experience less pleasurable was to see that the wireless network, that people have been complaining about for months (or years?) still does not work. The same was true, it seems, for the air conditioning, before it finally broke down completely when outside temperatures reached 32°C.

Staff was very kind and we have received an upgrade.. very much appreciated, because the initial room was very small.

The stay and! diner was too expensive for what is was. It is absolutely not a 4 star hotel. Breakfast was sober, no muesli or cheese, simpel. We payed 36 euro for a risotto which is overpriced. the structure of the risotto did not taste like real Safran risotto. Again the staff was very nice but the quality of the food did not match the price.

Wonderful staff and location .

The staff were really helpful apart from the cleaners. The cleaner removed our bathrobes but never replaced them. She also took away towels that had not been used everyday and the floor was very fluffy.

The wine measures were too small and the desert, Frigato much too small.

Great place in the center, yet having a garden feel!

great hotel in the absolute center, back against the park and the chateau. Beautiful setup, great rooms, polite staff, speak English. We were happy with our stay! It felt like we were staying in the forest village almost while we were actually in the center! The chef at the restaurant was fantastic and accommodated for dietary needs (well done, no milk/butter)

I had expected for a bit more breakfast variety for 18eur pp... All food available was fantastic but again - some more fresh options would have been great (i.e. veggies, tomatoes, etc). There was 2 cheeses and 1 ham, 2-3 breads and 2 croissant types. Given how close to nature the hotel is also some mosquito screens for the balconies would have been nice. Of course there was AC but some ppl prefer open windows. Final small detail - one plank on the balcony was detached and i tripped and almost fell walking on it. no biggy :)
