Great location opposite the chateau. Fabulous croissant for breakfast. Beautiful room.
I missed the information that there was no lift to the upper floors. A bit of a struggle with a heavy suit case.

The staff was very welcoming and attentive. France is known for their hospitality and this hotel staff takes that a step above. The room we stayed in faced the château Fountainblesu and was beautiful through our windows when the sunset. The room was very clean and fresh. Our bed was the most comfortable we’ve ever had in France. the sheets were crisp and the blanket fluffy. It was such a welcome relief after a long day of travel. Highly recommend.

Great location, nice breakfast, beautiful old building
Very basic bar, little bit old and tired

Location right opposite the Château
Nice room and bathroom
Breakfast could have been better for 19€ p.p. Was very basic; nothing special. Melon attracted fruit flies and could have been covered.

Nice room, if a bit small even by Paris standards. Very good air conditioning. Good location for travel from or to Gare de Lyon.
Nothing in particular.

A historical building in the perfect location.
It seemed like the hotel needed a little TLC, not as nice as I thought it was going to be.

Elegant hotel, with dreamy location right across Fontainebleau palace. We had a room with a fantastic view. Amazing attention to detail, wonderful staff and fantastic breakfast experience.
Nothing, it was perfect. Thank you!

Everything about this gem of a three generation hotel across the Chateau de Fontainebleau was perfect. Indescribably elegant, understated chic and comfortable rooms with the dreamiest bed and linen. The owners are two brothers who are discreet, attentive, kind and professional. They know Fontainebleau inside out. One of the prettiest hotels we've stayed in for a long time la.
In the room, the coffee on offer is not up to date. For such an otherwise perfect hotel if you are in a hurry and can't stay for breakfast it would have been so much better to install a little Nespresso machine with capsules instead of freeze dry powder. And descale that kettle please.

Location plain center in between insead and the main street, so good. Personnel is friendly and they showed me to the room, which is now not so often even in lux hotels.
Value for money is not good because the hotel, even if very nice from outside and the building itself is a typical french boutique hotel, the rooms need renovation, both toilettes and general furniture of the rooms (FYI i stayed in room 5 and it was a bit oldish for the price paid)

We found this to be the perfect location for Fontainebleau, we had a room at the front with a glorious view of the Chateau and after a long road trip all over Europe we felt immersed in the history and beauty of the place as soon as we arrived. It was easy to find being right on the square in front of the Chateau and parking was easy. The building itself was elegant, historic and beautifully furnished with a small library of books, an honesty bar stocked with excellent wine and a panelled living room where my son and his daddy enjoyed a game of chess. We received a warm welcome and got some great tips for bouldering and walks in the forest which my son absolutely loved.
We loved everything.

Charming and elegant boutique hotel. Lovely decor and ambience with welcoming and helpful.staff. Across the road from the Chateau and right in the heart of town for restaurants, shops, etc. Delicious breakfast in a lovely dining room. Spacious king-sized bed with fresh crisp.linen. I had a fantastic stay at Hotel de Londres in Fontainebleau. Everything was perfect—from the warm and friendly staff to the unbeatable location right across from the château. My room had breathtaking views of the château, was exceptionally quiet, and provided a truly relaxing atmosphere. Quite spacious too.
The hotel’s charm and attention to detail made for a great experience.
The breakfast was good, though I would have appreciated a bit more variety in the options.
That said, it was a minor point in an otherwise flawless stay. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Fontainebleau!

Location was excellent with a view of Fountainebleu Chateau & central. The room was well appointed, modern bathroom with great shower & marble floor. Breakfast was excellent. A lovely old world feel hotel with modern conviences.
Parking was restricted & needed to be requested in advance, we ended up parking on street. The entrance door you had to press a buzzer for the receptionist to open it everytime you came in,not sure was it for security reasons but was strange for a hotel, not very inviting. Otherwise no complaints.

i did not like the fact that I have paid more than 200€ for a night in a hotel which is in fact in a middle of a renovating project

Location was great, right by the château, with a view over the square below and out to the chateau. Everything very accessible, chateau, gardens, cafes, restaurants etc. Room was very nice.
I booked this hotel as it said parking was available on site but when we arrived we were told the parking was full and told we could park in the public car park right next to the hotel. We did but this was more expensive than other car parks within walking distance of the hotel. If we'd known in advance that there was no parking at the hotel we probably would have parked elsewhere, as it was we were only staying a night and didn't want to waste time moving the car again. It could be expensive if you are staying multiple nights and the car park is full, perhaps contact the hotel before you arrive to check the situation? We couldn't work the air-conditioning during the night, so maybe ask the staff to explain that when they show you the room!

This hotel was literally across from the Chateau Fontainbleau, yet was actually not overpriced for what they delivered. It was very quiet, the room was quite spacious, and there was a beautiful courtyard. It was in walking distance of the town center, with access to restaurants, and shops, not to mention an excellent seafood restaurant literally across the street.
Breakfast was very expensive, so we did not partake.

breakfast was very good indeed, and the breakfast room overlooks the palace entrance, great views. Staff were really helpful, they let us leave our car in their little parking area while we visited the palace, after we had checked out.
nothing to improve on.

Staff and owner would offer to help with anything! So helpful! Beautiful small hotel steps from the famous Chateau and from a dozen or more cafes and restaurants. Spotless inside, relaxing center courtyard. Start you trip to Burgundy wine country by heading out of Paris or CDG and go here first.
If you want an elegant 5 star mansion with spa, it’s not here. This is a beautiful place, passed down for generations with care, relaxed, and everything—even every light bulb—worked every time, something that seldom happens at a hotel.
