They thought of everything - exceptional stay

Everything about this place is exceptional. I don't often leave perfect reviews, but they deserve it. The breakfast was delicious, the room was large, comfortable, and the staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. We even loved the quality of the sheets - so rare. Charming. The hotel is just steps from the Château de Fontainebleau. We also scored parking right out front that was free Sunday and Monday.

Awful. I was dreading the night until I was able a better hotel down the same road

There is a massive dog in the house that barks at me when I come out of the room that i was given. The table for breakfast was used to fold clothes, but the host didn’t seem to care that a customer was around. The host looked on kept. That property isn’t fit for customers to stay in. I really question how she got the reviews that are on there page. Also the tv remote was filled with dust and it seemed like the room hasn’t been used for years.

Absolutely nothing. The host has no empathy towards her customer.

Lovely, personal experience close to INSEAD

This B&B is a 5-10 minute walk from INSEAD. The breakfast is around one large table in the living room of the house. It's very personal and cute. The large room is also the office, and there was a friendly old dog napping in the corner. The breakfast was delicious! Fresh croissants and baguettes, cheeses and home-made jams. My room was large, with a nice bathroom and comfortable, big bed. The sound insulation towards the street is great. You hear the upstairs guests more than the outside. The host family is very friendly, and Perrine will help you with taxis or other needs. There is a pool in the back yard which is being upgraded with some sauna and spa facilities.

Stylish, charming and friendly B&B in the centre of Fountainebleau.

Everything was superb. We received a warm and friendly welcome when we checked in and every morning at breakfast. The location is excellent just 100 metres or so from the chateau and centre villages. The Josephine Room that we booked was spectacular with beautiful wooden beams a very comfortable bed and a well equipped and beautiful bathroom. Breakfast was a lovely continental breakfast with superb coffee. We definitely recommend this superb B&B if visiting Fountainebleau.

Dirty cutlery in room... bathroom toiletries and kitchen items half used from previous occupants... Nothing is renewed or replaced for new guests... half roll of toilet paper and kitchen roll or washing liquid... half bottle of shower gel in the bath... such practices look cheap and mean and it does not value the host... Better remove all items than display leftovers... Breakfast : bread uncovered by a tea towel to avoid everyone handling the baguette or loaf of bread while slicing a tartine... Host (female) showing no interest towards guests... but speak about her...

Tout était impeccable dès notre accueil au premier jour. Beaucoup d'attention sans être envahissante. Le petit déjeuner était super copieux avec des produits de qualité (vaste choix de thé, de confitures et autres). Nous avions réservé la chambre Joséphine tout en haut, très spacieuse, offrant tout le confort attendu. La literie est très confortable. Chambre bien isolée de la lumière la nuit. Le sauna, spa, et hammam privatif dans le jardin à côté de la piscine, un rêve pour se relaxer. Très proche du château qui est une splendeur!

Alors, tout petits détails mentionné au propriétaire : une poignée pour la baignoire (vu son positionnement, il n'est pas facile d'y entrer ou en sortir, c'est glissant) et un distributeur de savon. La poêle de la cuisine qui est fortement usée. Il semblerait que ces aménagements soient prévus cet hivers. Mais, ce ne sont vraiment que des détails par rapport au confort général.

Excellent séjour dans une belle demeure très accueillante, à "deux pas" du château de Fontainebleau

Un accueil et un séjour excellents. Le cadre intérieur et extérieur de cette demeure est très agréable : une grande et belle chambre, avec sa salle de bains et sa petite cuisine bien équipées attenantes, donne sur un joli jardin, centré sur une piscine, avec une sympathique terrasse invitant au farniente. L'ensemble hammam , sauna et jaccuzi privatisés, ouvert sur le jardin,est très apprécié au retour à pied de longues visites du chateau de Fontainebleau et du centre de la ville Sans oublier un trés bon petit déjeuner dans la chaleureuse pièce à vivre témoignant du goût pour les voyages de notre acceuillante hôtesse et de sa famille
