It was ok, but I wouldn't recommend it.

We never saw the staff/host, but they left the key in the postbox for us. Room was reasonably clean. Very good location in Barbizon. You need a car though because taxis are not easy to find and neither are the buses.

No aircon in the room, we had a fan which was ok but our friends who we booked for had no fan in their room! It was hot!!! The bathroom needs refurbishment. Not exactly the luxury rooms I had expected but it was ok for 2 nights as we did not spend much time in the rooms. Breakfast was a few shop bought cakes and a kettle (DIY)!

The location was amazing - just downstairs and out to everything you could need for a beautiful evening. Near the forest for a little walk after dinner to enjoy the long summer night. There was coffee, tea and breakfast items which was a plus - would stay again in a flash- loved it.

Location was great and the bed was very comfortable.

The WiFi did not work at all, there was no fridge or anywhere to keep things chilled, and the breakfast was rather limited.

On se laisse porter par le charme des vieilles pierres

Agréable séjour, j'ai apprécié l'accueil, l'entrée indépendante, les indications pour se promener, le choix possible de la chambre, la grandeur de la chambre et l'extérieur avec ses vieilles pierres.

Heureusement il y avait de la place pour se garer dans la rue et un petit déjeuner sans yaourth ou fruit (nous avions apporté les nôtres) mais peut-être est-ce du à cette période de fêtes ! Les fenêtres étaient difficiles à ouvrir.

Sans doute pas tout à fait au top côté équipements et un peu cher, mais situation exceptionnelle, pour l’agglomération comme pour la forêt, calme, confortable, très bon accueil, bref, une très bonne adresse !

Reposant et parfait pour une nuit

Accueil chaleureux, chambre simple et lit double confort. Pas de petit dej, mais le thé et les biscuits faisaient très bien l'affaire. D'autant plus qu'il y a une excellente pâtisserie juste en face dans la rue.
