Would not recommend for elderly people at all.

Breakfast was good and location adequate.

Correspondence with guesthouse extremely poor and requests made were not responded to at all, or at least any explanation on why it was ignored, even after personally contacting the establishment.

Comfortable suburban stay in a fantastic area and all necessary amenties

Breakfast was delicious with sufficient variety. The room and bathroom were extremely spacious and comfortable and I loved the location - quiet, beautiful suburb great for walking but close enough to town.

Worst experience yet. Had to leave

There was no one to meet us. We manage to gain access after phoning the second number given on booking.com. The room was unmade and the the bathroom also used. The main house was unlocked and security poor so we had to abandon the accommodation and search and alternative accommodation at 22 h at night with a 9 month old baby. Worst experience ever.

I liked it, but I expected a slightly different space. I was staying on the top floor and will have to carry my bags up the stairs. The place is beautiful, but needs some improvements. It's located on a street with many beautiful houses and is a very quiet place. We walked about 2 km downtown, both day and night. It's a bit isolated, but otherwise very quiet. The staff was OK, offering hot food, fruit, bread, and coffee.

What made a difference for me was that the room still has carpet, the bathroom needs renovation, and the bedroom door, which has an external access, was unsafe. And the distance from the city center. Overall, it was OK.

Excellent value for money: a spacious room with a view and all the comforts, good breakfast, elegant ambiance

I had asked for a late check-in at 22h00 but the gate and room keys were not in the safe (it’s human to forget something). No one was answering on the phone (that’s more concerning, there can always be emergencies). After a long wait I entered the house, which was fortunately accessible on foot, and found the keys in a storage room, so I could sleep on my bed… but it hasn’t been pleasant, I felt like a thief. The day after a little gesture of excuse would have been nice.

I booked this accommodation for my sister-in-law for one night. She had nothing bad to say and only good comments about the location, the property and the staff. She said she would definitely book again when visiting Stellenbosch in future.

The property was well maintained and provided more than I expected at for the price that I was booking for. The staff were all very friendly and the breakfasts were substantial. Really enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to others.

An enjoyable experience

It was a great experience , everything was "on point" our on site hostess Sandra was very accommodating and the room was very neat, clean and tidy, overall we were very happy with the guest house, and we can highly reccomend it to anyone else.

It was en enjoyable stay

The host Sandra is very pleasant, caring and friendly. She was extremely accommodating, as my arrival was much later than I had advised, as well as my check out time being much later . The place is very homely and the breakfast really good. She makes the best scones.
