A wonderful hotel, very clean, not far from the sea, great breakfast options and a rooftop terrace with amazing views of the harbour. All staff were friendly and helpful but special thanks to Federica who had great knowledge of the local area how to get to different places and things to see. She was also very helpful with arranging our travel back to the airport .

We booked this hotel last minute on our travel back to France from Venice and we are SO happy we found it. The staff were wonderful and attentive and helpful. The terrace and pool was lovely with a gorgeous view of the sea and a small gym. The morning breakfast was beautiful and generous and the garden patio we sat in was beautiful. We wish we could stay longer but will absolutely be back. Thank you to the staff for hosting us and making this stay so memorable and relaxing. Highly recommend. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable and we had a cute balcony with a view as well. Air conditioning worked great. Very easy walking distance to the shops and restaurants. I don’t often take time to write reviews but this hotel very much deserved it. Thank you thank you :) we will definitely be back and will be staying much longer.

Hotel Minerva is perfectly located for walking into town to the shops and restaurants but also away from the noise set a few streets back. The staff at the hotel are just amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was lovely and there was a good selection to choose from. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Air conditioning worked beautifully. I would highly recommend staying here (and I am a fussy guest!)

The staff at Hotel Minerva was fabulous. They went above and beyond to help us, recommending places for all sorts of activities. The breakfast served in the garden, had lots of variety and was delicious.

Lovely, cosy hotel. The reception staff is amazingly efficient and attentive. Bed is very comfortable, kettle and iron were given on request. Pleasant descent from the hotel to the main road with beaches and restaurants. I will choose this hotel again for a solo or a couple stay.

Hotel Minerva is a prime example of how a perfect hotel should be. Amazing breakfast with alot to choose from, amazing service, close to restaurants and Portofino/Rapallo/Cinque terre. The cleaning is excellent, AC is good. Hotel Minerva is without a doubt where I would be staying when I come back. Recommend this hotel for everyone. Thank you very much Frederika & co.

This is a terrific little hotel nestled upon a small hill just off the main road. It's very close to shops and restaurants and has wonderful amenities. The staff is exceptional and very attentive. I would guess that this may be a family ran hotel as the apartment in the courtyard is home to one of the terrific employees we met. The roof top spa is a MUST after a long day of walking/hiking. We walked to Portofino and hiked the Cinque Terra using this hotel as our base and the sauna, steam room and essential oil infused shower was a life saver. It's free to guests and just requires a reservation the day of. The spa experience was icing on the cake! Breakfast was perfect, nothing too fancy, just all the right stuff to get you started for the day. Again, the staff was always helpful and attentive. Our room was comfortable yet small as most are in the area. We had a little terrace overlooking the courtyard and surrounding homes on the hill. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends!

Very nice hotel. Off the beaten path and noice free. Rooftop deck with a large spa, sauna, steam room and exercise bikes overlooking the city. Breakfast was included, and boy was it specular! I'd highly recommend this hotel as the staff was incredible!

Such friendly staff throughout the hotel. They couldn’t do enough to make your stay a success. They lend you an umbrella if it rains through to beach towels when you want to swim in the sea or the lovely roof top jacuzzi. I would go back in an instant.

We extended our stay with one night because we liked sml so much and the hotel was a perfect place for us as base while traveling around cinque terre and Portofino. Nice clean and the breakfast was amazing!! The breakfast also had a big selection of vegan and gluten free products which I highly enhanced.

difficult to find tucked up a small residential road. Very basic hotel which was all we could get in the area at short notice. Lobby and common parts were underwhelming to say the least. The room was basic and although the bathroom has obviously recently been refitted it was hopeless with such a small bath and no room in which to shower without becoming tangled up in the shower curtain. the rooftop area was the best part of this hotel and the breakfast was very good

We spent one night at the hotel and had a great stay. The room was nice and clean, and the breakfast in the morning was amazing. The staff was really friendly and welcoming, we got to check in early and got plenty of advice of what to do in the area. It’s well located to explore the town and convenient ferry and bus services are available to go to Portofino and other places in the area. Would definitely stay again!

My stay was incredible - location is perfect, just away from the main drag so super quiet. Easy to access the train station and walk / boat / bus to Portofino, Rapallo etc as well. Staff were super friendly and went out of their way to help. Rooms were extremely clean and well maintained but could do with modernising a little. Tea and coffee facilities in the room would be great. Breakfast was good with a variety of food available that was refreshed all the time. WiFi excellent in all areas of the hotel. The highlight is obviously the rooftop jacuzzi which never had more than 2 people using at a time. Would be great if they extended the opening hours until sunset (not sure if this changes seasonally). I’d highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!

I absolutely loved my stay here from start to finish. Luigi at the front desk is the absolute best--so kind, friendly, knowledgeable, helpful. The breakfast is so delicious. The air conditioning is the best Ive experienced in Italy! Great location! So happy! Wonderful stay, highly recommend!

This is a beautiful hotel with exquisite views from the rooftop spa and exercise room. We felt ourselves to be in the lap of luxury while enjoying these facilities. Our room was spacious, clean, comfortable and also had a bit of a view. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding with a wide variety of hot dishes, cold meats and cheeses, cereals, breads, pastries, fruits and other sweets. This was one of our favorite hotels of our 26 days in Italy and our favorite breakfast.

We had a wonderful stay in Santa Margheriras Hotel Minerva. We walked about 1-1/2 miles to Portofino and took the boat ferry back for a view of the coastline for 8 euros. We are fresh fish every evening in the restaurants and service was friendly. We are on a 3 week driving vacation from Rome to Madrid and this was days 5 and 6. It helps that the hotel had inside garage parking for 15 Euros per night. Safe and clean Hotel I highly recommend.

We stayed here for 3 nights in a small double room which was quite adequate and had a balcony which was lovely. All the staff we came across were very helpful and polite, breakfast outside in the garden was great, and the hotel was walking distance to everything. Loved the spa pool on the top floor - we used this at the end of the day to relax and read a book and have a spa. We had it to ourselves - this part of the hotel seems underutilised - and it gives you a fantastic view out across the town and sea. Would recommend.

This hotel is amazing and really feels like a 4-star hotel. The decor is simple but if you don't care about that, everything else is outstanding. Great location, very safe and close to everything. Great breakfast in the mornings from 8-11am. Very quiet room with a comfortable bed. Staff are friendly.

Enjoyed the stay. My spouse was really happy with the stay. The hotel is in a good location away from all the traffic, but within a very short walk to all of the things we were interesting in: The beach, Restaurants, shopping, etc. Great buffet breakfast. Nice hotel staff very friendly.

The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and the hotel itself is well cared for and clean. Breakfast, WiFi and other amenities were readily available and above average. The rooftop infinity pool is a MUST if you want to see one of the best views in the area.
