    Hotel is lovely, we booked a room with a balcony, worth the extra money. It can be nosey, there was some construction work going on 80m from our balcony but only affected us on Friday afternoon of arrival. Ask for a higher floor as some traffic on roads but nothing excessive and you are in the centre of the town. Breakfast was great, lts of fresh food along with cooked bacon, scrambled eggs and boiled. Perfect for setting you up for the day. No kettle in room but when asked, reception kindly supplied one. As typical British love a cuppa on the balcony. The sea front is a 3 min walk and you can get the ferry to Portofino, rather than the local bus, which is a lovely way to experience Portofino. Worth the walk up to the lighthouse where there is a lovely small cafe area with panoramic views of the bay. Make sure you pass the first cafe at top the other is 25m further up. Both belong to the same company.
