Abbiamo prenotato con 2 mesi di anticipo una camera matrimoniale Superior, ma al nostro arrivo, molto presto al mattino, ci è stata assegnata una stanza situata al piano -1 di una dependance ricavata in un contesto condominiale, giustificata come l’ultima stanza disponibile. La stanza, nonostante fosse molto spaziosa, non era pulita a fondo e il piccolo dehor esterno era poco curato, con addirittura i panni stesi dell’appartamento sovrastante a vista. Alcune altre criticità non hanno aiutato: il bollitore era guasto e il telefono interno non riusciva nemmeno a contattare la reception. Abbiamo chiesto per ben due volte di cambiare sistemazione. La prima richiesta è stata respinta con la motivazione che l’hotel fosse al completo. Successivamente ci è stato proposto il trasferimento in una Loft Suite, ma soltanto pagando un supplemento di circa *** € per una sola notte. La cosa che ci ha lasciati più perplessi è che, nello stesso momento, sul sito risultavano ancora disponibili camere Superior, esattamente della categoria da noi prenotata. Nel complesso, abbiamo percepito un servizio poco orientato al cliente e non coerente con gli standard e le aspettative di una struttura a cinque stelle. Peccato, perché la posizione dell’hotel è ottima, ma l’esperienza vissuta non giustifica il livello di prezzo richiesto.

Comfortable and quiet but I did not see what was 5 star. No view of sea or mountains from any room I was told. Not informed our room was ready as promised and luggage not delivered to room without chasing. No complementary water or drinks unlike 4 star hotels. Indoor smallish swimming pool 28 degrees which is good in the winter but not the hot summer. Large walk in shower cubicle but single small hand shower. Single very small sink. No USB charging socket by the bed. No bath robes. Did provide decent flip flops.
