Highly professional staff welcomed us with a free upgrade room and a bottle of prosecco. The staff was helpful in guiding us on sites to see and things to do. The bar staff was friendly and welcoming. We felt at home in this hotel. The television streaming services did not work well but this was a minor inconvenience. Overall I give this hotel an excellent rating.

I loved my stay at Hotel Laurin. The room was great, very clean and the balcony was a massive plus. The pool area was excellent, for the time of year the number of sun loungers was plenty, and the view over the coast was perfect. The breakfast buffet had a great selection of hot & cold, and sweet & savoury. The staff were all brilliant, welcoming and helpful. And the area was close to all restaurants and shops, as well as the boat to Portofino and the train to all the popular spots on the coast as well as the smaller villages. Santa Margherita itself is the perfect base for the area, with a calmer feel than some of the more intense tourist areas, whilst still having enough of a buzz to not feel too quiet. I would highly recommend! Grazie Mille!

Amazing views. We booked an ocean view room and we were in heaven. The terrace is stunning and has a beautiful view we will remember forever. The location is excellent right on the maim strip close to all restaurants, ferry stops and walking distance to the train. The rooms have electric strom shutters that once you close them the room is pitch black allowing for a great nights rest. The breakfast was great. The service and staff were all excellent. Roberto and Liazana at the front desk helped us immensely, they were super professional and welcoming and helped us plan our days with efficiency. Thank you again to you both ! I highly recommend this hotel you wont be disapointed

Wonderful Location with a close up view of the harbor from our balcony. Clean and comfy room, not much for decor but spacious and had everything we needed. Handy and good restaurant attached--we enjoyed eating there twice. And the staff--they were unfailingly kind and helpful, spoke really good english. We loved our time there.

Hotel Laurin is in a fantastic location—everything is walkable, with plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. The breakfast was delicious with options for everyone, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. The gym is small, but perfect for getting in a good workout. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. Overall, an excellent stay—I highly recommend this hotel!

The best location in Santa Margarita! Yet the hotel is not modern style, for example rooms are still with normal keys not a card, in the room there is no coffee machine or boiler. The cost per night was extremely very high compare to what you get in the hotel except the very good location in the center of the town.

Central location overlooking the waterfront, excellent roof terrace with a somewhat strange design swimming pool, nearby secure and spacious parking (needs to be pre-booked and it’s EUR30/night), friendly receptionists dispensing good advice and good breakfasts. Hotel Laurin is in a wonderful location , central for everything in SML and the staff are very helpful and friendly. The room was comfortable and clean . The breakfast offered a good selection and was fresh and very nice . I would recommend the hotel

We loved the view from the private balcony. The harbor was peaceful and beautiful. The hotel was a short walk from churches and restaurants. We enjoyed the breakfast and appreciated the friendly and helpful staff. Lovely hotel.

The staff was absolutely wonderful - so gracious and accommodating! Our balcony view was gorgeous and it was nice to have tables and chairs out to enjoy! The breakfast each morning was yummy! Love that champagne and cappuccino came with it! We will definitely be back to Hotel Laurin :)

The hotel is very nice and has an excellent location overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the port. It is surrounded by greenery. It is at the same time very central to all attractions in the city. The bus stop to Portofino is 50m away. The hotel itself has all necessary amenities. Staff is friendly. Room is spacious. The hotel has a pool on the terrace which has gorgeous views. The breakfast is excellent with a wide selection of options. The hotel has a small gym which we tried. I highly recommend the hotel.

Very nice hotel, loved the location and the view off of our terrace. Staff was always very friendly and helpful and wanted to help in any way. The pool was an excellent place to cool off and take in the view as well. I loved the Santa Margherita location because it was close to Portofino, and Rapallo and the ferry was a very nice way to get to both places. The Cinque Terre was the reason we came to this region and honestly, a full day there was enough. It’s about an hour train ride away. The beach water looked clearer at CT, but the hotel had a beach available in the sea, vs the harbor at SM. SM was a big little town and quaint. I enjoyed the hotel and would definitely stay there again.

Very nice and centrally located. Walking distance to most restaurants. Staff was very friendly Hotel was clean and well taken care of. Breakfast was average for eggs and meats. Fruit and bread pastries were great. Unfortunately, the bed my wife and I slept in was two single beds pushed together. Made for a very uncomfortable night's sleep. The parking is deceiving. When booking it says "parking is available" read the fine print. It's $30 a day. We parked on the road and were able to save about $10 a day. Have to be strategic with not wasting time on the meter.

This hotel is the perfect location to everything! Trains only 12 min walk. Ferry to other areas is less than that! Restaurants all within walking distance. Front desk staff was very helpful. Daily breakfast was very good and staff ready for your Expresso, cappuccino or latte order. Room was small but expected. Patio to sea view a treat! Definitely would stay again.
