We booked this hotel for the 4 stars, unfortunately I would say this is a 4 star.
Our room was dated and bathroom
Was small, it smelt like cigarettes and we were overlooking a McDonald’s that was very busy and over the weekend extremely loud in to the early hours, we couldn’t have the window open due to the noise and the smell of grease.
Windows open really wide and is a concern with a child.
The bed was very firm and didn’t have a duvet but an old looking woollen blanket between two sheets.
The location was great and lovely walk into the town, the parking was free and was plenty of it and the breakfast was nice.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were nice, though we asked for things to our room ( which was a charge - and never arrived)
There is also a charge for the TV and only one plug socket - none around the bed area
