Staff were excellent.They were friendly & accommodating at all ti. There was not enough choice in the cooked or continental breakfast. The food was left too long & dried up. Cheap sausages. Room had stains on the carpet & pillows uncomfortable. The heater failed to work. Staff came immediately to help. Unfortunately it still failed. Staff provided a plug in radiator. I understand that people with dogs are asked to sit separately. But this area was furthest from the breakfast bar. Being disabled was a big problem. The staff saw that I was struggling & kindly offered their assistance, which I gratefully accepted. People with disabilities & with assistance dogs have equality rights to be treated equally by all establishments. They should be able to choose where they sit, by the breakfast bar for example. I booked my room online & phoned the hotel the next day to explain I had a disability & an assistance dog. I was assured I would get a room near the reception. When I booked in I was given the room furthest from the reception. I returned to the front desk & received an apology for the change. He had in fact booked me a room by t reception the day before but someone had changed it without his knowledge. He showed me the change on the computer screen. No one should be able to change these bookings without consultation. You don't provide accessible rooms for the disabled with carers who need twin beds, so I had no option but to choose an unaccessible room with twin beds.
