Muncie Place Hotel & Suites

Our first room smelled like cat pee. Overwhelming. Our second room seemed better but in the morning found a roach in The bathroom.

Easy process. Pleasant staff. Nice room & greenspace.

The only thing that bothered me about this place was that the pet fee was $75 per night per dog. That's a little unreal, especially when someone has a clean dog and there's no reason for them to keep all that money.

Good hotel, great breakfast. Clean and safe. Not much dining chooses.

Killed 3 spiders in our room. Also when we came off the elevator the smell of pot was so strong coming from one of the rooms right by the elevator.

The staff is just the best. It’s in a good, newer side of town. Hotel is older but clean and meets my expectations. I will stay again.

I liked the shampoo, soap and lotion in the bathroom. The toilet paper was thin. There were no USB ports. The breakfast seemed limited. I wasn't voluntarily told where any amenities were such as the workout room or snack area, etc. Otherwise, the room served its purpose and seemed clean.

Our first room had a broken toilet and cracked tiles in the bathroom, and no headboards on the beds but otherwise seemed clean. The a/c was also very noisy. Once we reported the broken toilet they moved us to a different room which seemed to be in better condition but the morning we left, we found food wrappers behind the chair and under the bed, along with several of a pervious customer’s dirty socks. I reported that to the person at the front desk and they apologized. In fairness they were clearly transitioning from a Holiday Inn to the new ownership so that may have been a contributing factor.

The key cards did not work all weekend and it wasn’t just my room but multiple rooms. I was very disappointed in everything.

The staff was excellent. They were all very nice and helpful. When we first went into our room, it smelled very strong of bleach. It was so overpowering that we had to open the window and leave the room. Once we came back several hours later, the smell had gone away. Then in the morning we went to breakfast and the coffee maker was broken, the juice machine was broken, the pancake machine was not working and the bottle water in the fridge was all warm. The food selection was very limited and was not being filled in a timely manner. The eating area is also very small. When we went back up to our room after breakfast, our key had been deactivated so we were locked out of our room. We then had to go back down to the front desk and have the key reactivated. The room seemed outdated and the carpet was very worn, broken tiles in the bathroom, holes in the wall that need repaired. Overall, the facility really needs some major updating and repairs. We believe this facility was not worth the $215 we had to pay for 1 night. I would not recommend this hotel unless you're in a desperate situation.

Stayed for one night, Tues-wed. Ok stay, nothing outstanding.Pet friendly, need to show pet at check in, make sure the animal size follows policy. Did not get free breakfast had to leave early.

Elevators and floors were wet…frequently…a bit of safety concern for others. Kids and families very loud on 3rd floor… screaming & swearing. Staff at desk and breakfast very friendly and hard working! We are a ball state family so will be visiting periodically there.

The staff was so friendly, warm, and helpful. Everyone made us feel welcome. Our room seemed to have been recently redone - everything was very clean and in great shape. The bed and pillows were the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel. It was quiet and the A/C was just right. Room darkening shades kept it nice and dark even though we faced the front lot. The breakfast area was clean, well-stocked, and had good choices of hot food as well as cereals and yogurt.

The staff were so amazing during our stay, the breakfast was better than many I’ve had at sit down breakfast places, and the hotel is great! Conveniently located near several dining and shopping options, almost everything you want or need is within a 10-15 minute drive

Clean, comfortable, quiet

We stayed overnight. The staff was very friendly. The room was pretty rundown. The bathroom door would not close and the bottom was broken. Overall it was clean. The shower took a long time to drain. Tissues were empty we had to go ask for a box.
