Bed was comfortable linens were crisp. The shower was very outdated with mold around the tub. The airconditioner was one of the loudest I have ever encountered. The parking lot had a large portable light post in the middle of it and gave us the feeling there may be some break ins of cars there.

Unsupetvised kids in ajacent room were noisy and disrespectful. There were no adults to be found. They ignored requests from us to please be quiet. They ignored requests from staff to stop slamming doors and yelling. They tried opening the door that connected our rooms in the middle of the night. They kept us up much of the night. It was a miserable stay. We are exhausted and cranky and have to drive 4 hours home. While the property was adequate after we were moved from our first room that clearly had a recent guest who smoked, this was a forgettable stay. I will not return.

This hotel needs updating inside and out. The room was damp and musty and the old AC unit in room was no help. In general, this hotel had an overall musty smell that was covered by air fresheners throughout the building. The staff were all nice and the included breakfast was decent.

Although the property is an older property, it is well maintained. There are no musty odors. Everything was colorful. Breakfast is what you would expect for a hotel lobby breakfast. They did have some good selections. Everyone I met there staff wise was friendly and helpful. Wood stay here again.

Absolutely beat down hotel. Desperate need of some maintenance and some paint. HVAC system in the room was so loud that we got very little sleep. And they charged $3 to park. Come on, you aren't a downtown hotel where parking is limited. What a joke. My best advice would be to avoid this place at all costs. If it's the only hotel in town available you would be better off just sleeping in your car that night.

We enjoyed our stay at the Fairfield Inn. All of the staff we interacted with were friendly. We appreciated the variety of food options for breakfast. The common spaces and rooms were clean. We didn't get a chance to utilize the pool or fitness center while we were there. Maybe another time.

Dirty, rooms smell, heat and air only worked at 60…sometimes. The bed is hard as a board, small rooms, shower took 10 min to warm up then the only temp was scalding. I booked an executive King with some fa bed and was given a tiny king, but they didn’t change the rate for a small room without the extra bed.

The room we original assigned to upon check in had a bug on the pillow. We then lifted the corner sheet and there was a bed bug. The staff moved us but I am requesting a full refund.

We stayed in the king suite. It was clean and spacious. It's not nice to have a sitting area. But the TV can't be seen from the couch since it's in a cabinet. The pull out sofa was TERRIBLE! Thin "mattress" with springs poking you. Bring your own bedding, because the blankets are super light. Traffic noise was terrible, so best to be on opposite side of hotel. Breakfast was great. Manager was helpful and nice!

The room was fine, and adequate for a single night stay over. The heat was cranked up to 80 when I walked in, VERY TOASTY. The toilet ran for a long time after flushing (I started to jiggle the handle to get it to stop). Would be nice to know the remote had been wiped down between occupancy (many other hotels have a way of reassuring guests that it's been wiped down).

I was not informed of parking lot construction and had to park across the street. The street was very busy with constant traffic. This is something that the hotel should have informed guests about upon booking. Also, there staff was very unprofessional or not available.

Hotel was clearly aging and not aging well. I don’t believe the staff attempted to speak to me other than to check in. Not in the hallways. Not for breakfast either morning I was there and took breakfast in the lobby. There’s nothing special about this hotel, so I would rate it a good place to stay for a funeral, convention, or other nondescript event. Definitely not worth the star ratings it’s previously gotten or the price unless desperate. Consider better parking as well. To have guests pay anything for a flat, uncovered parking lot in Indiana is a bit much.
