The room was clean. The staff were efficient and helpful. The parking was convenient. The room is very small. The bed was a little hard for my taste. The heater was very noisy.

We couldn’t get Live TV in either of our rooms. The decor is as basic, bland, gloomy and cheap as you can get. On the good side, the beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

Pillows were a joke, tiny thin ridiculous pillows. When asking the front desk for an extra pillow, they said they did not have any. Back security door was broken, anyone could access. Door made a terrible scraping sound when opening. TV kept going in and out and saying no signal. Entry way light in the room would strobe when turning on so you could not use unless you could stand the strobing. Milk container at the breakfast bar was always empty. Picture of the beach used as advertising was 10 miles away. This hotel needs some serious maintenance.

It was unusual

We arrived and had to wait 10 minutes for the front desk person to come back from checking rooms, we got our room and it was the room right off the lobby, this should not be a room. We could hear everything happening in the lobby. We went back to the desk and thankfully said they had another available, great! We got our new room key and when we opened the door, it was clear there was someone staying in that room, not great. Went back to the desk, repeated the process. One of the workers went to go check rooms. When he came back he gave me a new room. That he just checked. (????) There were people in that room as well. Go back to the desk, the worker went to check another room, that one was empty. Finally in our room, we go to turn down the temperature and the thermostat dies. We watch a little TV, the signal cuts out every few minutes and then the channel is lost. We turn the lights off and notice that the room darkening curtains let in huge gaps of light on either side. I slept with a T-shirt covering my eyes so it would be dark. The bed is ok, but there is a huge sag in the middle. The sheets are soft.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Great location, close to lots of dining and shopping. Room had issues with touchy thermostat — we were either too cold or too hot. Bathroom door had swelled and we could not close it fully.

I wouldn’t recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a restful night. The walls are paper thin—you can hear everything happening in the rooms next to you, from conversations to TVs and even people moving around. It felt like there was no soundproofing at all. To make matters worse, the in-room phone didn’t work, so I couldn’t even call the front desk to complain or ask for help. Definitely not worth the price, and I won’t be staying here again.

I was solo road tripping with 2 dogs and this hotel was perfect. They gave me a walkout room right across from the exit, which made taking the dogs out a breeze. There was a grassy area to walk (we saw a deer and fireflies!) and poo bags/trash available. It was also less expensive than staying on the east side of Cleveland. I'll stay here again next year.

When we arrived, they did not have the type of room we booked available and tried to give us a different room (would end up paying more for a lesser room). They said the hotel was completely booked and could not give us the room we paid for. Guy at the desk said it wasn’t his problem because he just started his shift and his manager could not be contacted. Had to call Travelocity to get the room canceled and refunded. Left and went to another hotel. Will not try staying there ever. Staff were terrible and incompetent.

One of the two elevators was out of order, which was scary to see, and the other took an interminably long time to come and I heard from other people staying at the hotel that it too got stuck a few times. The air conditioner sounded like a 737 taking off, and there were people screaming and running up and down the halls all night long. I will say that the room was clean and the front desk staff were personable.

We had stayed here before and it was nice so we booked again. This time we didn’t have quite as good of an experience. The phone in the room wasn’t working. They didn’t clean our room the one day they were supposed to and I had to ask for service. The side door that was only supposed to be key card access was broken. The room was comfortable. The staff was nice.
