Carpet was damp when we first got to the room and as it dried out by the 2nd night the room stunk like wet dog. House keeping didn't clean our room the 2nd day and going by the rest of the rooms on the floor hadn't been serviced.

The property was clean and nice city view. Bed was comfortable and spacious suite. My only complaint is the high cost, for the price we paid I would expect a far more luxurious hotel. It is die to Vancouver market conditions and time of year... Location was decent, we walked 25 mins to Granville Island. Over all a nice stay of one night.

Staff was amazing! Room was clean, comfortable and spacious. The location is great for downtown Vancouver! Very walkable and close to transit. Yes the street is a bit noisy and Granville is a bit rough at night but not terrible for a big city at all. During the day it was fine. If you walk just a block over either way it’s lovely, quiet and well lit. Would stay again. So many wonderful restaurants within walking distance.

Way overpriced given the condition of the room and the location. People smoking meth right outside the hotel. Room was very outdated. Beds were very old and uncomfortable. Air conditioning wouldn’t cool the whole space. On the plus side, the staff were very friendly.

Cons: Typical of downtown area…surroundings kinda unsafe and dirty but hotel area is secured (police around everywhere) and maintained. Airconditioning not cooling the room enough. Pros: It is very close to downtown and is a stop on the hop on/hop off bus tour. There is a small market right across the street. The view of the city was good. The walk to the sea wall trail is not far. Cons: Very old, needs to be remodeled, homeless people all around outside. The elevator stopped working while we were in it and notified us to sound the alarm. Luckily, the doors still opened, and we could get out, but the stairs are useless for getting to your room as the doors are locked to all floors except the lobby. The air conditioner was completely ineffective and did not cool the room. We had to open the windows and door to the balcony. The beds are doubles, not queens, so they are very small. I would stay somewhere else if at all possible. I would not return here.

I spent one night at this hotel for a birthday and, as expected, had a few friends over before heading out to Granville. The hotel staff watched us let friends in without saying anything, and then later charged an extra $300 without warning. Definitely not a hotel to stay at if you’re celebrating a birthday or planning to have friends over before going out. I do not recommend it unless you’re willing to risk paying unexpected extra charges.

Basic hotel. Spacious and clean. Walking distance to Rogers Arena. Expect noise from streets if staying on weekends. Parking costs extra. We stayed in king suite with hide a bed. Had microwave and fridge but fridge was not cold enough. King bed comfortable and hide a bed was average. Be nice if balcony had a couple chairs to sit on. Overall acceptable stay for 2 nights. 35 minute walk to Stanley Park or Canada Place.

When I booked the Hotel through Expedia, the price each night is US$ 300, but when I checked in, the receptionist charged me different, she charged on Jun 5 is Can.$ 337.20, Jun. 6 Can.$434.20 and Jun.7 is $462.20 (Canada). The room service is good, but don’t have water or coffee in room for customers
