Room was good value, location great but check-in was like the 90s. Even though via email they asked for pre check-in which involving us uploading photos of our passports, they went through it all again at check-in. We were an hour before advertised check-in time so yes, we could have rooms early but only if we filled out forms to join the Accor club. Almost walked away.

Staff and housekeeping was good and attentative. Breakfast was OK. The room is pretty small but manageable. My stay was during winter and the room was very dry, but the body lotion in the bathroom was good. The bathroom seems not to have ventilation so it was very humid. Room is a little bit noisy. I could hear the next door and there were a lot of emergency services because of its location. Some aggressive homeless people on the other side of Granville.

Staff was very courteous offered to complementary drinks at check-in, which was really nice and there were some cookies in the room for us. It was a very pleasant day. Would stay again.

Location and overall vibe great. Only one chair for 2 old people…not comfortable sitting on bed. Breakfast fine but exactly the same for 7 days! No snacks or drinks for sale not everyone is under 50. STAFF ARE THE BEST

The smoke detector in our room 507 went off 3 times. 3:15 am, 6:15 am and 6:50 am. The first 2 times we were dead asleep and abruptly woken. There was nothing in our room that could have set this off. Really defeated the purpose of booking a hotel after a concert downtown to get adequate rest after because we certainly did NOT. Hotel seemed nice otherwise but really overshadowed by the alarms

I've stayed here a few times now in different room categories, and I can easily say that going with a suite is the way to go to just have a bit more room to move around. The TVs may be missing some of the channels you may be used to, but you can cast without problems so you can always do that. Cozy bed and the breakfast downstairs is quite good if you have that added. No glassware in suite and no corkscrew if that's important to you.

I booked this hotel weeks in advance because of the description (and good reviews( of the bar & restaurant, even though it was high priced, which is tupjcal of Accor. A few days before my arrival I checked the hotel description again, to find a message that the bar and restaurant were closed for the future. I messaged Hotels.com and the hotel directly, asking if I could cancel my booking for a full refund - they only replied on the day of my arrival in Vancouver, so I had no chance of finding alternative accommodation. So I stayed the 5 nights. This hotel is over-priced and not good value for money.

The staff were very friendly upon arrival and were helpful with luggage at the stairs. They offered texting as an option to handling any issues that arose and that was very helpful. The hotel was very nice and quiet, the area was a bit loud but it was sound proofed quite well.

The service was great - friendly staff both at the front desk and the cleaning staff. Room was great and had everything I needed. I did book this hotel since it advertised a business centre which I had planned to use for a few meetings but upon checkin realized the business centre is actually the lobby with a few computers. Ended up having to go to a coffee shop since either the lobby or the hotel room had a suitable space for meetings. Great place to stay so long as you're not looking for a space to work.

Inside the hotel itself was very clean and comfortable, although it was disappointing that their dining facilities were closed. What was more concerning was that the hotel was right on the corner of a very loud and busy "entertainment district", with lots of police presence. Needless to say noise was a problem and we weren't super comfortable walking in the neighbourhood after dark.

The hotel is located very close to a social housing area with dozens of homeless affected by drugs out the front. It did not exactly feel safe walking around the neighbourhood and we would not stay in this location again. Further down the waterfront or Gastown would be best. The room was quite small and dark and looked directly into a backpackers through a light void. The restaurant was closed during our stay.

Nice boutique option right in the action. Last minute booking but really happy with the experience. Didn’t expect to stay right on Granville (where all the hustle and bustle is) but very convenient central location. Worked out great for both business and personal. Clean and updated throughout. Impressed with how quiet my street facing room was.

The staff at this hotel were amazing!! So friendly, fun and great at their jobs! Only downside of our trip is that the “Living Room” is closed. If you look on Expedia it doesn’t show that. It advertises for it instead, so we were hoping for a place to go for a drink and a bite to eat in the hotel but other than breakfast that isn’t an option. Otherwise a great, cute place to stay that is easy walking to many other amenities!

Hotel Belmont is a nice, small hotel close to a lot of entertainment places. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area. Our room was tiny, kind of thight for 3 people, and not the room configuration i expected when i booked it, but we managed. Beds were comfortable, it was clean and well maintained. We had free breakfast which was ok, and we also got free welcome drinks. Nice touch was a hand written Happy Bithday card and chocolates that were delivered to the room after mentioning that we were in the city for a bday weekend. The hotel is very close to a bus line that takes you to Granville Island or to the Waterfront, which was super convenient as we used it multiple times, instead of wasting money on cabs/uber. It is also about 10min walk from /to city centre train station (we took the train from and to the airport), and about 25min walk to English Bay. Overall, a pretty good stay.
