Amazing location opposite the river Boyne. Very pretty house and historic setting which suited our taste.
We had problems with the boiler and hot water resulting in either freezing cold or boiling hot showers. The wood for the fire potentially was not dried out enough and there was no kindling therefore the fire kept going out. I have no problems keeping fires lit at home so it was nothing to do with a lack of fire making skills. The house generally felt as though it needed a bit of money spending on the interior although it was very characterful. There were only electric heaters, no central heating therefore I imagine it is very cold in Winter and late Autumn.

Beautiful location, traditional cottage, peaceful and quiet.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work for us, but it wasn’t a big deal.
