Birthday weekend

Just had a 2 night stay as a couple lovely place great hosts great room very clean, breakfast was fab would highly recommend, in a perfect location and very quiet. 5 minutes walk into town and 10 minutes to the lake side and ferry. Will definitely return in the future 10 out of 10👍

The room for a small double was spacious enough to move around very clean , bed and bedding comfortable and controlled heating ,breakfast was an optional extra and at very short notice avaliable, all ingredients where of high quality and cooked to my liking the hosts where friendly and accommodating put lots of effort in to make my stay great the location was just minutes from all the shops and bars. Very quiet surroundings also lead to a great night's sleep

Absolutely amazing welcome. It was all really fantastic. We travelled with a wheelchair and everything was done to make our life easier. I would absolutely recommend this guest house!

Loved location . Welcoming b& b . Spotlessly clean. Unfortunately didn't meet hosts as we had to go home due to a personal situation back home. We will return.

Didn't compare to other deluxe rooms that we have stayed in when visiting Bowness-On-Windermere. Felt it should be classed as cosy double in all honesty we found it to be really small. . However comfortable and cosy.

It's relatively warm and the location is ok.

The room the boss gave me is not the one I booked. When I talked to him about it, he said it was just because of the different decorations. But obviously, the room I reserved is larger in space and has a totally different layout. I have no idea why the boss is lying to me. Besides, since I paid in cash at that time, I can't even cancel the booking or file a complaint. I really don't understand how this place got such good reviews. Is it because I'm a young Asian girl that I'm easy to take advantage of?

Short Break

Nice quiet location within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, and lake Windermere. Lovely cheerful hosts who went above and beyond our expectations. Exceptionally clean and comfortable room with everything we needed. Highly recommend!!

It was very clean and location was good. We only met one of the hosts but he was very pleasant.

The shower had very little water pressure (but not too much of an issue) Parking might potentially be an issue but we were lucky and got a spot in the 2 allocated parking spaces at the bottom of the street.

Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay with thoughtful touches and great hospitality.

A nice, clean, and cosy room with a very comfortable bed and convenient access. The designated parking was a great bonus, especially since street parking can be difficult to find during peak season. The host was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout the stay.

The only issue was the placement of the shelf above the wash basin — it would be more practical if positioned to the side. With the limited space, it was quite difficult to use comfortably. That said, it was manageable for a short stay.
