Small quiet hotel with fair price/quality balance and great chef in the kitchen

Small and quiet hotel managed by a family with a long tradition. Heinrich, the owner (80y old) is still very much active and dedicated for an excellent service. In 2023 he claims to finally get retired after >60y of hotel management 😊 Rooms and hotel are neat. The chef in the kitchen is superb with a daily 5 course menu of choice. Breakfast is buffet style with enough choice, eggs are asked when seated. Hotel is quietly located near most hiking tracks and seilbahn. A small sauna is available. Parking is free and in front of the hotel. When walking for full days you can ask for a lunch bag which you can compose yourself from the breakfast buffet. A small fee of about €2/pp is asked. No bakery or supermarket nearby.

Hotel has a new wing with additional rooms but the interior in the dining room and general quarters could use an style update 😊 It lacks a bit typical cosiness and typical gemütlich romantik. But the friendly staff makes up great for that. Sulden is in Summer time a small additional village to the larger village a bit down the valley. Eco remark; towels are changed every day which is not necessary we guess. If not on the floor, easily to be re-used.

Excellent Tyrolian cuisine and service in a beautiful spot immersed in nature

I liked specially the food in the restaurant, the service and view from the room. Breakfast is amazing with fresh Italian cold cuts and fresh pastry and bread, very good expresso, ice for diverse juices, fruits and freshly cooked eggs. For dinner you get 5 course menu, with buffet salad, a starter with one choice of pasta, a soup, a main with fish or meat or veggie and a dessert. All is delicious and with a lot of creativity. The lady serving was really kind and efficient. The room is spacious, with a sofa and a very conformable double bed, it has a big balcony with view to the mountain and the valley. It is located a walking distance to the cable car and you can walk to the village city center in 15 min relaxing walk just immersed in nature, listening to the waterfalls. They have also recycling boxes at the corridor where you can leave your PET, cartons or glass. Toilet has a bidet and great shower and was very clean

Personale molto preparato e attento ai dettagli, la spa leggermente datata ma comunque pulita e curata e la cena era veramente strepitosa! Camere silenziose e molto spaziose, con balconcino a vista e ski room spaziosa e ben attrezzata. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente, esperienza molto positiva Inoltre, comodità per accesso alle piste, ci si può andare tranquillamente a piedi

Spa un po da rivedere, qualche dettaglio in piu nelle camere (esempio cuffia per capelli o set cortesia con cotton fioc )

leckeres Frühstück, der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und man kann etwas bestellen, wenn es am Buffet nicht verfügbar ist. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und sauber.
