Nice location for a family trip

Breakfast and the friendliness of the staff were really good. A small charming village at the bottom of the Stelvio mountain pass. Could be a great start location for an amazing experience.

The accommodation itself was very good, with a clean, cozy, and well-heated room — very important during winter. The location is excellent, and overall I was happy with my stay. The only issue was the restaurant. Very few vegan options were available, and none of the waitstaff spoke English, which reflects that many accommodations in this part of South Tyrol seem primarily oriented toward local guests rather than international tourists. As a result, I could not confirm whether a dish was truly vegan and ended up not ordering anything. Aside from that, I have nothing to complain about regarding the room or the accommodation itself — it was excellent and highly recommended.

There were no real negative aspects, except that not all staff spoke English. I don’t personally come from an English-speaking country and it wasn’t a major problem, but English is the international language we are used to using to communicate while traveling, so in that sense it was a minor drawback.

A very nice hotel. Comfortable room and good food.

It could have been a warmer welcome. Me: ‘Hello, I have a reservation’. Receptionist: ‘Name?’ Me: ‘Walters’ Receptionist: ‘Passport?’ A ‘Hello, welcome to our hotel, I hope you enjoy your stay’ type of welcome would have been nicer.

Very good

Prato de Stelvio is so cold in the winter, and the room is so good with heaters in the room and bathroom too. The shower is very good too . There are a pizzeria int he hotel and the pizza is so delicious.

Vacanza iniziata non bene ma ben gestita dal Gasthof

Siamo partiti male già al check in informandoci che non potevano offrirci la mezza pensione già addebitata sulla carta di credito.La prima sera abbiamo fatto da soli, la seconda sera ci hanno prenotato in un ristorante che collabora con loro e che non ci ha fatto pagare. La differenza della mancata cena ci è stata rimborsata in contanti al momento del check out. Voto 10/10

La cosa che non mi è piaciuta è stata la mancanza del bidet nel bagno, posso capire all’estero ma no in Italia.

Ein grosses Dankeschön und Kompliment für den wirklich sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt in Hotel Stern.

Die Lage ist hervorragend und sehr ruhig. In wenigen Fussminuten ist man im Zentrum von Prad. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat alles was das Herz begehrt und der Mensch braucht. Angrenzend an das Hotel (im gleichen Gebäude) ist eine fantastische Pizzeria, sehr empfehlenswert. Gastgeber und Personal äusserst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Ich wollte mit dem Rennrad morgens früh los aufs Stilfserjoch und durfte sogar früher frühstücken.

Das Wort "nicht gefallen" gibt es hier nicht!!
