Pleasant welcome, helpful and accommodating.
It felt a little off putting to order breakfast in advance with such a strong emphasis on minimising food waste. Realistically, especially travelling with a child, it’s difficult to know what you want to eat, particularly as some of the foods were new to us. It felt conspicuous to order some of everything, you don’t have this experience at a buffet setting.

I wasn’t aware before I arrived (probably lack of attention to detail on my part) that the hotel is a social enterprise and that they employ people with learning differences. It’s such an excellent idea and it is executed really well by all staff members. Everyone is friendly and the food is very excellent. I loved the little almond muffins at breakfast, I can’t stop thinking about them! A really nice contrast to a corporate owned Airbnb like the ones that are ruining cities
