Absolutely shit. Save ya money and put it towards somewhere better

Location ok. Property itself, disgustingly dirty

All of it. Everything was dirty, under the cupboards, the fans were rotten. We had to clean them off. The shower was blocked, took the lid off only to find months worth of hair clogging up. Under cupboard was filthy along with the carpet. Stained mattress and pillows. Broken window. Crockery dirty. Nothing to actually cook with. Table top ironing board totally useless. Only bonus was, washing liquid was provided and loo roll. Owner not helpful at all either. Just some images.

It was looking tired. The mattresses need replacing especially in the first bedroom. The springs were digging in my back. There are two flights of stairs to get to the flat.

Basic and in need of maintenance

An ideal location if you want to see a football , rugby or cricket match, other than that this property is in need of a lot of maintenance and deep clean . Take a bottle of bleach and a spare mattress incase you can’t sleep on a bed with springs digging into you

This property is in urgent need of maintenance to bring it up to standard. The lock box code we were provided with was wrong so we had to call the rental management team on arrival. They were quick to help us at least , but not a great first impression. The property is in the loft / 3rd storey of an old building , so there is limited insulation. Hot in the day and cold overnight (we stayed in April). Also as it’s in the loft, be prepared to carry your belongings up 33 narrow stairs. The property clearly needs a lot of maintenance. The manager arrived and helped rectify some of the issues (provided a plug for the kitchen sink so we could wash up, fitted a door on the oven for us and provided us with coffee cups that weren’t stained with mildew and missing items - wine glasses ). H&S in the event of an emergency evacuation is questionable, the only way out of the building is back down the stairs. The property did not appear to be fitted with fire doors. Frustratingly for us the kitchen windows were locked shut, this was apparently for H&S however it feels like the little top one could be left unlocked as the property comes with no gas appliances and would help ventilate the property, something it desperately needed. The property kitchen area had a strong smell of mould / mildew clearly from a leak in the past . Do not expect luxury here. Treat it as a place to rest your head and crash out after a day of sport or a long days travel

Run down 2 bed apartment

This was a poor experience on every level and frankly it appears this host does not care about his guests. First impression: The dead rat on the driveway as we stepped out of the car. Prior to this we'd had to contact Booking.com because the host had not sent us the access code right up until the day we were travelling (Christmas day!) and still hadn't until we rang Booking.com. The many other issues I'll bullet point here: - The mattress in one of the room was so thin the springs were poking through. It was not possible to sleep on it. - A door handle missing. - ill fitting toilet seat. - The worktop unit so badly constructed it was falling apart. - Very poor air quality, cooking smells from flats below got trapped here. - Cracked window. - Not all of the windows opened and ventilation was very poor. - Not enough seating. - Cracked and stained crockery. - Not enough utensils. - Stains all over the walls. - Patchy Wi-fi. If it was possible to give less than 1 star I would.

Communication needs to be improved for a professional business

- Had a roof over our heads

- Wi-Fi was terrible didn’t work the whole duration of the stay had to use mobile data - Sink was broken in the toilet very unhygienic - Appliances where not available, no kitchen roll, no hairdryer when asked about this no response - Communication with property terrible only shared how to access keys hours after the checkin time provided on property advertisement had to contact them to ask for the details - Failed to include security deposit on advertisement asked for this on the day of check in before providing the check in details - Communication very unprofessional with the property in concerns to security deposit refund been waiting since last year 2023 checked out of the property 10/12/23 it’s been 2 months - The morning of check out the shower water was switched off hours before check out time no warning

No I wouldn’t recommend this place

It was peaceful. We did park off the road. Apart from that the electric heating did work but took ages to heat the property.

Had to send ID before they gave me the key information, I understand that for a security point of view but what I don’t agree is they didn’t say anything till the day I was to arrive and I was really busy at work and my ID didn’t get to them so I was then panicking about getting the keys. Broken window. Cracked bathroom floor tiles that was freezing on your feet. Heating off when we arrived so it was very cold. No table and chairs so very difficult to eat. Kitchen Cupboards didn’t shut properly. It wasn’t very clean.

Terrible the worst place I have ever stayed, I will never return.

There was nothing I liked about this property. Please avoid at all cost, the reviews are all false.

The property is a house not an apartment. We were made to stay in the attic, we climbed two very steep flights of stairs to come up and down. I am heavily pregnant so this wasn’t good at all. We had children with us so you can imagine how difficult this was. To make matters worse the property was very damp and you could smell this. We had many wasps flying around, we found a dead bee in our bed. An alive wasp inside the fridge. The propert or shall I say attic was not clean at all, the bed sheets were all stained. On the day of our checkout, the water was turned off to us, and this delayed us in checking out. We had a lady from house keeping come to talk to us, I thought this may resolve the issue. However, she was very rude and racially abused us. When I was leaving the property the housekeeping lady - Kay became aggressive and was swearing and wouldn’t let us leave the property as we were 20 minutes late in checking out, due to the water being turned off. She started to swear and would not allow us to leave she started to push me and hit me. Not only was I racially abused, but I was physically assaulted by this Kay in front of my child. I am pregnant and this could have been a lot worse. I have all the proof, and I am happy to share this. I immediately called the host - Chandan 4-5 times and no one picked up. I left a message and emailed but I received no response. I have now come on here hoping to warn people like myself who do not know the area and this is false advertisement. The attic does not look like this and it is all false. Please avoid this at all cost!!

The property was clean on arrival, however when I opened the oven there was grease and melted cheese on the grill pan from previous occupant which was very off-putting. Found the three sets of stairs a bit hard at times.

Fantastic

Beds were super comfy, spacious living area, lovely and warm. Although we didn't need connecting bedrooms it would be handy for a family. Location was great, 30 minute walk into the centre but right on the bus route so very convenient. Parking available. We had an initial problem with the door lock but after one phone call the owner was out and a new lock fitted within 90 minutes, they couldn't have handled the unexpected situation any better 😊

As a group of 2 mums and 2 13 year old girls we found one mirror was a bit inconvenient!! 🤣 Also maybe the bedrooms could benefit from some storage?

Needed more seats in living area. Ceiling to bedrooms was too low on one side and made getting in and out of bed awkward. Concerns that no fire escape visible and as on top floor this was very concerning Kitchen stock needs tobereplenished as not enough for 4/5people to eat or drink as some were missing. Hot water temperature was scaldingly hot. .

absolutely loved it, good value for your money, bright and clean and the bed is very comfortable definitely has a homely feel to it.

wish there was a designated parking spot for the apartment I stayed in. also wish there was some closet space for clothes, only stayed two nights so wasn’t much of a hassle
