Continental breakfast on steroids! Plentiful selection of cereals, yogurt, fruits, local cheeses, eggs, fresh butter, and an assortment of breads, including Sheelagh's homemade soda bread.

Friendly and laid back host who went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and to help us with our itinerary during our stay. Nice breakfast and everything was very clean. Short walk away from Ballyferriter village where there are pubs and you can get lunch or dinner.
The property was clean and the hosts were pleasant, but I felt that the description was a little unclear. It’s essentially a room within a family home, and breakfast is served in the family kitchen. I hadn’t realised this from the listing, so it didn’t quite match my expectations in terms of privacy.
The “sea view” is visible only when standing and looking through the roof window, and the house itself has creaky floorboards and an echoey feel, which made us feel we needed to be quiet. It wasn’t the best fit for us as we prefer a bit more privacy, but it could suit other travellers who enjoy a more homely, shared atmosphere.
Location
We didn't enjoy the location that much. The house is not in the thick of things but neither is it remote and relaxing. It's on a fairly busy road in a neighbourhood area, with houses on either side.
We were hoping to hear some live music nearby, but during our stay there wasn’t much happening in Ballyferriter Village (although I understand there often is). We ended up driving into Dingle for live music, which is something to keep in mind if that’s part of your plans.

We had stayed there two other trips and chose to go back because we enjoyed being at Sheelagh’s cozy and well equipped and comfortable home.

A charming guesthouse ideally located on the Dingle peninsula, near the sea. Our host, Sheelagh, is a very kind and attentive person. She prepared a delicious breakfast each morning, gave us interesting information about the place and shared with us her passion for poetry. Our room was very spacious and comfortable. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you Sheelagh!

Sheelagh’s Kitchen was just as I had hoped it would be. She is very friendly, helpful with advice, provided quality meals, adequate parking and a comfortable room accommodations.
We also had nice conversations and enjoyed some tv in the evenings.
The rain, but I didn’t visit for the weather.

Sheelagh is a gracious host with a beautiful home. We were looking for a quiet location and this fit the bill perfectly. The home is a short walk to the village Ballyferriter, which has a couple of classic pubs and hotel. We had dinner at the hotel and it was amazing. It's also a short drive to Dingle where we walked out to the lighthouse and enjoyed the vibrant town. Sheelagh is an amazing cook and the breakfast was one of the highlights of our vacation. Highly recommended.
The bed was a bit tight for two. The day bed is actually located outside the room in a common area.

Sheelagh kindly opened her kitchen to meet any dietary requests from the start, as well as providing a delicious freshly prepared breakfast every morning. The table was beautifully set, and I was made to feel at home. Having the chance to converse in Irish with Sheelagh was the icing on top. I couldn’t have asked for more!

Sheelagh is the best. She is such a character, very joyful and happy person. We enjoyed chatting with her very much. Breakfast was delicious and catered for gluten free (she even got me some special biscuits) Rooms were comfortable and clean. Location is great, not far from anywhere!

Very large room and excellent bathroom. The host Sheelagh was very helpful and great with local knowledge.
This place was a little challenging to find. ALthough Sheelagh gave us her postcode the GPS took us a little further up the road. Having found it the stay was great.
Not a comment on the property but we found choices for food in the village were limited and it is about a 20 minute drive back to Dingle.

Bed was comfortable and the room was clean with lots of room.
Only skylights in the room and they could not be opened for outside air.
Property was a little difficult to locate, owner said look for the bird statue on the wall. Statue is small and covered with overgrowth.

Sheelagh is such a lovely person, it was very nice to chat with her. She also gave me a lot of tips for activities in the area. The room is very nice furnished, big, bright and clean. Breakfast was great with selfmade/local things and a nice view through the window. I really enjoyed my stay there and would absolutely recommend! :)

Sheelagh’s Kitchen was a beautiful and well-appointed property on the west end of the Dingle peninsula, along the Slea Head drive. Gorgeous views out the window! Sheelagh was a great host and very generous with recommendations and provided great conversation! (She wisely told us to take the Slea head drive clockwise, lest we find ourselves trying to cross a tour bus on the narrowest passes of the drive-I read otherwise on travel forums) Would definitely stay again!
Nothing. Great spot.

Lovely home, beautiful views, I enjoyed chatting with Sheelagh. I enjoyed the local yogurt and cheese for breakfast.
I liked it all, though it was a bit further from the town than I would have preferred, and a bit more expensive but I knew that when I booked, and I booked quite late.

Breakfast (continental) was a bonus as it was not mentioned as part of our booking. Nice touch.
Found it difficult to locate the correct house.

The room was upstairs, very spacious, clean, huge closet, big mirrors. Shower was powerful. Breakfast was very good with varieties. Host was very nice. Beautiful mountain view from the kitchen with tiny glimpse of the water.
We expected sea view from our room and were disappointed. The floor made noise whenever you walked. Lighting in the room could be better.

The owner was very helpful in finding places to visit and places to eat. She even made reservations for us at local restaurants. She knows a lot about the community.
The room was somewhat not clean. The beds were not very comfortable. The bathroom's roof window couldn't be closed so it was cold there and rain was leaking.
