Staff and rooms when ever there was an issue they came fast..the only problem that I had was when booking they never not one time tell us about the 200 dollars hold on the card ..but overall it was Great stay.

I’ve stayed here many times before- and it’s been fine but this time, there were a lot of little problems. The alarm clock was constantly going off and I couldn’t reset it- it seemed like there were 10 alarm times set and they kept going off no matter what I did. I finally asked the hotel to take the alarm clock out of the room. The TV kept freezing and going blank. The hotel mentioned that this was a problem receiving the signal from the cable company, but I was there for three nights, and it was never fixed. I don’t want to be harsh on the housekeeping, but the trash cans weren’t emptied, and the fitted sheet kept coming off the bed at night. The hallway water dispensers they use instead of bottled water were not working. It wasn’t an uncomfortable stay, but it just seemed that things were off. I am sure my next day will be much better…..

I asked multiple times for mirror to be fixed, shower head to be fixed, and for the tc streaming option to be addressed and none was done took 3 hrs to get a blanket.. very dossappointed

The Pros: A great view all around, the location was pretty convenient, the store staff was kind, the indoor pool was great for our kids and pretty large, 24hr fitness center, beautiful furnishings/decor/colors around the hotel The Cons: The bathroom didn’t have any water pressure (shower or toilet), parking is a very expensive additional cost, they put a $200 hold on your account regardless of how much you paid for the room, breakfast buffet is the quality of a regular Holiday Inn stay except instead of being free it’s over $20/person, the elevator situation is inconvenient because you take one elevator 15 floors and then walk across a large lobby-like area to get to the other elevators that lead you up to your room. I had unexpected/unexplained transactions from the hotel that I now have to dispute. There’s also no microwave in the room for those leftover Chicago eats and you have to travel back down to the lobby to use the microwave there. I’ve stayed here twice and enjoyed it the first time around, but coming back a few years later I was disappointed. I recommend going for a king size with a city view if choosing to stay at this hotel because they’re very nice, located on the east side (from my first experience) and have the better view of the Chicago skyscrapers and river. I don’t recommend booking the rooms with multiple beds because they feel much smaller and darker and the hallways seem very dark too.

This was a fabulous stay! The room was perfect, the breakfast buffet was delicious and every employee was wonderful! We were doing the OOAK Show at the Merchandiser Mart and this location was amazing! Took the sky bridge across every day and it was a life saver in the cold snowy weather!

Loved that I got room immediately in a short decision due to Amtrak delays lingered. 1 mile from train station so Taxi was only $11. Our was on topmost floor so super quiet. Great views. Loved the amenities inside the room...and the water filtration machine next to hallway ice machine! Need to say we felt like royalty 👑!
