Comfort at a Bargain

For a bargain prices facility, it was better than I expected. The room was large and comfortable.

It got a bit noisy one or two nights due to loud guests talking outside of my door.

Great hotel for great price

The hotel was cute and in a great location. You can easily walk to most of the touristic spots of the city or even take public transport nearby to reach other places. Also, the hotel has a kitchen, we didn't use it but I think it's a great feature. There were plenty of bar/restaurants around.

The room was maybe a little small as well as the "wardrobe", but I guess that's still a really good option considering the price. People was really loud in our floor and you could hear everyone that was outside while being inside.

Location is great, right in the city, everything is close. Room was pretty fine, temperature and guests mostly nice. Quiet and enough for one traveler.

Just found a few long hairs in the sheets (not mine). Window was not going to any of the places around, just to another room.

Great stay if alone

Just needed the code that was sent to you to get in an out. Little to no hassle with checking in and getting room. Location was great, you could easily just go out and walk around the city.

Even though I had emailed the property before I left to confirm I could stay in the room an extra day (as I had already booked it), I was bothered not only by housekeeping but also the facility manager the day I originally was supposed to check out. I understand there can be some miscommunication, I just had been up all night and was still recovering from a cold I had. While the facilities were mostly clean, the rooms are a bit small for more than 1 person.

Spotless. Efficient and helpful staff. Superb large and fully equipped kitchen. Coffee pods available. Extremely comfortable bed and very nice linen. High-quality shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Great location for downtown. Lovely quiet room. Modern keypads for room entry. Absolutely brilliant. What a find! Would stay again.

There is no breakfast, but there is a kitchen that can be used. The accommodations are very good. Very clean. The stay was very pleasant, the free Wi-Fi was okay to use.

At the moment I can't recall anything that I disliked about the hotel accommodations that warrants attention.

The stay was fine

Comfortable beds and location within walking distance to many Chicago attractions. Room was nice enough and the shower water was really nice.

Poor check in experience with locked door, no one there. There are a number of keypads that require various codes that you don't receive until check in. It required pre-registration on website that was not easy to figure out and not communicated. Without using a smart phone it was "impossible" to check in. Saw one guy almost turned away because he didn't have a way to upload his ID and take a picture of himself with and there was nothing the front desk person could do except say thats the way it is. Shower could use a proper cleaning and bathroom should have been vacuumed better. Can hear walking around upstairs and toilet flushing in adjacent rooms. Definitely would have preferred quieter. Can clearly hear street noise even with window facing away from the street and rain was loud enough to wake us when hitting the corrugated steel siding.

I was super happy with the level of service by the awesome hotel staff and enjoyed my weekend trip!

It felt like I stayed in my own little Chicago apartment, it was super cute! Great River North Location you can walk everywhere from, close to the Riverwalk and the magnificent mile as well as the South Beach.

Room had no window to natural light, was just opened to a square of other people’s windows, so it seemed a little dark and depressing at all times, but I’m an outside girly so may not bother someone else.

Excellent location,easy walking distance to sights,near train to airport & good restaurants.This hotel is " a no frills" place but was clean ,safe& had comfortable beds,good showers& lovely helpful staff.

Great location & great hotel, but quiet hours may not be enforced

I stayed with my sister for 3 nights a private bunk bed room. The room was small, but clean and there beds were pretty comfortable. Also, the bathroom was very spacious. We had a room at the end of the hallway, so there was no outside street noise. Easy check-in process and great location within the city.

I’m not sure if there are quiet hours, but if there are, they do not enforce them. There was a party of people staying on the same floor as me, and at three separate times during the night (11:45 PM, 3:30 AM, and 4:40 AM) they were being incredibly loud and talkative in the hallways for about 10-20 minutes each time. We asked the group to quiet down as it was late, to which they got defensive, so my sister went down to speak to the front desk to see what they could do. They said they would look into it, but we are pretty sure the staff didn’t speak to the other guests, as they were still chatting in their room by the time my sister and I fell asleep for the third time, and being loud enough in their room that we could hear them clearly, with our earplugs in.

I walked to the front desk and Courtney took care of me right away, made me feel welcome, even let me rant a bit about my day and made me feel better.

I wish there was a view, but I can't really complain.

Ideal

Location was great. Room was clean and the bed was really comfortable. It was nice to have the option to make something in the kitchen and keep stuff in the fridge! I had to stay an extra night as my other accommodation fell through and the staff were very accommodating.

The bunk room was a bit small - not too bad for a solo traveller but would be a tight squeeze for two!

Cute place but left my friends without air on a 90 degree night

The place was very cute and the beds were comfy.

We had no AC during the night and when I tried to go and tell someone, there was no one there. We ended up sleeping without the AC and instead used fans they left in the room.

Great experience for our girls trip to Chicago

The hotel was very nice. We loved the bunk bed style in the room. We had a nice view out our window.

Our door code got changed without us knowing our second night. But I went down to the desk and was told the desk staff and it was fixed immediately.

Getting in and out of the building is a pain, there are codes and each is different for the rooms, main and second entrance. This was very difficult and annoying.

This is a nice central location that's outside the super touristy areas but close enough to still walk there. The room was nice and had all the basics you would expect.

I had read the description multiple times to make sure there was a workspace in my room but it ended up being just a console table.

Great hotel overal

Location is great! The hotel is kept pretty clean. The staff were really nice and friendly. I loved that they have a full kitchen you can utilize and have coffee or tea in the morning.

While I was sitting in the lobby doing some work, there were multiple people telling front desk about issues in their rooms with AC, water, sewage. My sink soap ran out on my first night and so did the body wash. Room that I stayed at was smaller than expected

Room didn't have any chair or desk or anything more than a bed. The bed duvet was in a shocking condition, full of cotton patches and in many areas just a normal sheet. Some young guests partying at 3am and waking me up.
