Excellent location within a short walk of the Unicorn Theatre. Comfortable, quiet location with lots of parking and a great breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff.

Cozy, relaxing stay. Beautiful surroundings. Provided a cot when asked. Warm room. Tea making facilities. Pleasant breakfast with local produce.
Impersonal check-in. Light switch in room in weird place. Wished meat was available in breakfast.

A good choice at breakfast, but apart from porridge or boiled eggs there wasn’t a cooked option.
The room was warm and clean.
Navigating the area near the entrance in the dark and wet was a little tricky due to deep puddles .

So quiet in the middle of nowhere though easy to get to. Pure peace
Hard to think of anything

Great location & lovely breakfast

The location was lovely and peaceful, with beautiful gardens around the barn. The lady serving breakfast was also very kind and welcoming, which I really appreciated.
I didn’t like the interiors of the room — the décor and fittings felt dated and poorly put together, giving the place an untidy feel. The breakfast was also disappointing, with only a small continental selection and boiled eggs, which made it difficult to find anything I would enjoy eating for breakfast.

The surrounding countryside.
The photos advertising the property showed lounge areas. We were a party of 11,a 2 year old and a dog and the only place we could get together late afternoon & evening was the breakfast she'd. This had tables and hard chairs. Our party met up for a family reunion!!! Also found a dead beetle in my bed!

The location is great and the staff very friendly and helpful. As a coeliac, I need gluten free food, which wasn't a problem, I was even phoned at home letting me know that gluten free food will be available. I will be back.
Nothing. No problems at all. The only problem I did have was that I only booked one night.

THe breakfast was excellent - good choice, excellent service and great to sit in the courtyard enjoying our breakfast. The room was fine with a spacious bathroom. The location was very good - quiet, away from road traffic.
THe instruction regarding accessing the room were a little confusing (we thought we needed a pin number to access either the reception or our room) although once we arrived it was straightforward. The room was rather warm making getting off to sleep not so easy. Some of the pillows were very soft but I was able to find one that suited me. A chair in the room would have been useful.

Breakfast very poor . Run out of sour dough bread as well as no eggs at 7.45 am .
Shops in main high street 5 mins away so they could have been replaced.
Room very basic with four point electric adapters hanging from sockets one chair in room . Stayed for four nights and room was not cleaned, Apparently didn’t have any cleaning staff.

Many people walking the Thames path, like us stayed here, it is close to the Thames path and to Abingdon. It is clean, good value and friendly with a lovely breakfast to start the day.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast fantastic. Location great. The outdoor seats under the arbour were a nice touch. The garden area was lovely.
The photos led us to believe there was a lounge area, but I guess this was for a different room/ apartment. I understand that we can’t control the weather and we were grateful for the pedestal fan provided but it was very hot in the room and we had to have the door open to feel cool enough.

Quiet, yet close to Abingdon. GPS worked well to find. Spacious clean room with a fan. Drink offering good. Helpful to be able to use Breakfast cabin to cook my supper. Could sit in pretty courtyard to eat and read. Plenty of hot water to have a bath. Good communication from host. Rooms close to easy parking.
Checked in easily, but there was no key as advised; luckily it was in the room. No microwave to heat supper in Breakfast Cabin. Had to find a saucepan. Not all knobs working on hob.
Club chair leg wobbly. TV very small. Couldn't see writing from the bed, even with glasses on! No rack for suitcase. Hook on bathroom door almost off. Bathroom door sticking on floor so it makes a noise and would disturb another guest in room during the night.
I had seen a pool from previous photos, but host had informed me that it was no longer there. Disappointing, but at least I knew ahead.
No cooked breakfast as apparently there were not enough eggs. A rather miserable greeting from a tired girl who was complaining about how much she had to do. Not suitable chat to greet guests!
Disappointing since it was advertised with a good photo of a tasty looking breakfast which I was looking forward to. (I suspect she couldn't cook! She had slightly burnt the croissant! Tray needs a liner so croissants don't stick.) Plenty of fresh fruit, cereals and croissants were well displayed.
Toaster available, but for H & S reasons the curtain needs tying back or toaster placed away from this hazard!

Lovely and clean rooms, we had refreshment station (water, coffee and tea bags) prepared in our room as well as booklet with general information about the property and what’s around. We appreciated the car parking on site. Continental breakfast was amazing, staff were lovely. Would definitely return back.

Needs a refurbishment, very tatty, room a bit grubby and with dust and cobwebs, shower cubicle dirty.

This is a scenic, but rather plain accommodation in an old farm house a little bit off the beaten track in Abingdon. If you come by bus, it's a bit of a walk from the center, which I didn't mind. The small road that leads to the barn gets quite dark at night, though.
The bed was comfortable for a short stay with surprisingly soft pillows, the bathroom was spacious with a good shower and big towels and the breakfast fresh and healthy - I prefer yoghurt and fruit to bacon and beans anyway. The rooms all seem to have a private entrance leading to the courtyard where there are many sitting areas.
I would suggest to add a small shelving unit here or there because there wasn't much space to put anything if you wanted to unpack.
The fan in the bathroom was very loud and there was no way to have light without the noise. The toilet paper holder fell off the wall, too.
The blanket was too heavy for a summer night, so I stripped the bedding off and used it together with the woolen blanket that came separately.

Location was lovely. Room was clean. Information book was really helpful (WiFi instructions and restaurant recommendations). Garden was lovely and quiet. Breakfast service was good and as described at the time of booking. Conveniently close to Abingdon centre.
There was an odd smell in the room. Lights on the walls didn't seem to work. Walls were thin, so we could hear noises / banging from next door.

Comfortable self contained units around a courtyard where you could sit and have breakfast or drinks. The kitchen was open till 9pm for preparing your own supper. Easy walk into the town.
A little jaded and the door weather strip had rotted. Nothing serious.

Beautifully situated B&B in the Oxfordshire countryside within walking distance of the nearest village. Quiet.
Self check-in after 15h means you do not meet anyone on arrival. We were there during warm weather and the room was very very hot in spite of a fan. Beds were just OK and the cleanliness was the same - just OK. All rooms are around a courtyard but we had no idea if it was safe to leave windows (just had to) & doors open.......

lovely location, easy walking to amenities
Its dated in decor in bnb rooms and was extremely hot, though fan was provided an extension lead would have helped and TV tiny for a large room

Staff were friendly and good communication before arriving.
Location was lovely. Though there are no views from the rooms themselves.
Good parking.
Berries at breakfast were plentiful.
Rooms were tired looking and need updating.
The rooms were far too hot. It was actually warmer in the room with the window and door open than stood outside the door in 27 degrees heat. The cause (not just hot weather) seemed to be the pipes under the bathroom floor which radiated heat and couldn't be turned off.
Fans were provided but didn't help. I wouldn't recommend staying in the Summer.
Breakfast finished too early at 9am. There were only enough croissants for 1 per person. If you arrived later to breakfast you risked not getting one.

The staff were extremely helpful when we encountered some difficulties in our travels. We were kindly allowed to use their phones to sort out an issue. Overall they went above and beyond to assist us.

Absolutely great place and so close to town. Perfect for a few days with the dogs and so accommodating. Breakfast was good and it’s nice to be able to use the cabin as we had a takeaway one evening. Lovely garden also to sit in.
Nothing really serious could just do with a slightly better bed and a chair in the room would be handy
