Nicely located but hard to find! There are many stairs, so best if you have little luggage and are up to some stone stairs. It is closed on Sunday, so we missed out on breakfast on the last day. The manager was hard to get a hold of as well. A woman who lives in the area so that we were lost and called the hotel and the manager came to get us, as we were lost. It was charming and very helpful, the actions of both women. The bathroom was super cute with pink and white tiling, a peak-a boo view from the room was spectacular, but it can be noisy there on a Saturday night. There was a large amount of dust behind the door, right where you walk to get into bed, it was gross, I won't lie. I complained, but it was not rectified.

Great stay in a great location. Vernazza is like a postcard, and the view from our room was excellent. Be prepared to carry your luggage up some steep and narrow stairs, but this is how it is for all of Cinque Terre, so it's not a bad thing. We loved the extra loft in our room. We loved having breakfast and coffee included. The staff was super friendly.

Pros- Very friendly staff that also run the restaurant at the entrance to the stairs which is also very good. Very nice view from the walk out balcony and a good size room with air conditioning as well. Breakfast is also included at the restaurant. Cons- There are quite a few stairs to get to the room itself with no bell service. If you didn’t pack light or you struggle with stairs, this could be a big problem. The room is also next to a church where the bells start chiming at 7am and continue every 30 minutes late into the evening. There were no amenities in the room (complimentary water, wine, etc.)

We loved our stay here. We can’t wait to come back! Everyone was so helpful and all was done with smiles. Easy check in and gorgeous views. The rooms were as perfect as the staff. We are coming back as a graduation present for our son who swam everyday and played soccer with the local children. I highly recommend this stay. ❤️ Vernazza!

Lovely accomodation. It's slightly misleading by the photos which rooms have a balcony, but regardless the room was lovely and the small annex roof had great views. Staff are really friendly and helpful. By far the nicest people we spoke to in Italy (everyone else was rude and obnoxious)

This is really a lovely apartment with perfect location in Vernazza, close to the beach, town piazza and the Cinque Terre trekking path. You’ll climb steps as others have mentioned, but no more than you would climb for any hotel or abnb in the Cinque Terre. The restaurant linked to the hotel is very good and they offer a 10% discount for Nicoline guests. Overall a great stay, would book again without hesitation.

Great location. Nice place. Hard to find as down an alleyway and even harder to get your bags up to. Need to climb 62 stairs to lift bags up to suite. On the expensive side for the area.

Nice room in a great location. There is no reception, so you check in at a nearby restaurant, and that all worked smoothly, with very helpful staff. There is some noise, both from the piazza at night (if there’s a party going on) and from the nearby bell-tower, which starts up at 7am. Otherwise, though, clean and comfortable rooms with good facilities.

Francesca was very helpful in meeting us as google maps did not get us to the hotel. The room was very centrally located, and the hiking trail easily accessible. Breakfast selection was just ok.

What a stunning new spectacular place as soon as you walk off the train. Words can describe how beautiful the village of Vernazza is. Upon arrival, the staff were very helpful and even escorted us up to the room. Warning there are some pretty steep stairs to head up and down from the property. But in general stairs, everywhere in this area are common. The one disappointment with this place was their breakfast. On the one day they were closed, which was OK because they gave us a voucher for another place called the blue Marlin. The next day we went for breakfast at our restaurant we were supposed to go to, and they had a very cheap buffet. Very disappointing compared to the wonderful breakfast That we got on the day that their restaurant was closed Overall recommend this place as you are right in the hub of the village and it’s the easiest stop of the five villages for getting on and off the train.

Great location just a short walk away from the Piazza, good size room for the price. Unfortunately the WiFi did not work, there was then a power cut which meant the air conditioning did not work when it was 30 degrees at night! No deduction of the bill given.

The shower quickly overflowed and wouldn't drain. In the summer, all needing a shower every day, this was a major inconvenience especially for paying over $400 Canadian a night. Also, the air conditioner was incredibly noisy and changed patterns constantly so as to wake everybody up repeatedly.

The location was perfect, in the middle of Vernazza in the Cinque Terre. You can’t go wrong! Great location. Terrific, friendly service from staff. Had a nice family atmosphere.

We very much enjoyed our stay. We had the room with a terrace near the clock tower. Thankfully the bells did not start until 7, and they stopped at 10 pm. Lovely view, lovely staff. Easy access to everything. Very much enjoyed.

I thought we booked a suite because the pictures on the website. But we were wrong. I tried numerous times to confirm the reservation but was never contacted back. As far as cleanliness , I had to clean out the build up of hair in the shower as well as remove the black mold from our A/C unit. Luckily there was some cleaning solutions in the cupboards. Not impressed.

Check-in at the restaurant was fine and easy. Very central location to the waterfront and staff was helpful. A/C worked very well thankfully. Two minor maintenance issues were resolved quickly. Pics on the property description are of more than just the unit you may get so just be aware. Most of the pics are of the top floor unit and we were given the one below that.

Great view from our room. Had everything we needed. Stairs to get there are a killer. Hard to check in because there is no reception and you must find a specific restaurant and the address on our booking did not match the restaurant. Overall great stay in a charming little town. I would stay here again.
