Great location - close to all the major tourist attractions and also close to a grocery store and laundromat. The rooms are comfortable and there’s a lovely courtyard for sitting outside to have a quiet glass of wine or coffee. Love the outdoor space. The staff are very friendly and efficient, and the breakfast is amazing. Loved staying here I highly recommend it!

We enjoyed our visit to the Parkhotel. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. The breakfast was great and our room was comfortable and clean. The hotel is in an ideal location as it is on the direct route from the train station (bus 78) and walking distance to the central hub of Ghent. I would definitely stay again.

Everything was fine except that there was no on-site parking even though the listing on Hotels.com said there was on-site parking available for 19 euros a day which was one of the main reasons I booked here. We had to park several blocks away and it was about 10 minutes walk dragging and carrying our luggage.

The small, homey atmosphere made for a relaxing stay. I recommend this hotel to those who are tired of large hotels of global chains. It takes about 15 minutes by bus from Ghent St-Pieters station. It is a 15-minute walk from tourist attractions and quiet at night. Simple, functional, clean rooms. Restaurant decor is lovely. There is also a patio. One evening, I took a walk on the canal right next to it, and it was great.

I don't know what was worst if the fact that doesn't have reception and the door closed at 10 pm and the code to open it didn't work and I had to stay half an hour looking for another hotel. The mosquito that woke me up at 5 am or the shower that turned cold after a minute. Or that PARKHOTEL doesn't have parking at all, and the advertisement says "parking available." The breakfast was awesome and the location is in fine for walking around, restaurants, and shopping.

The website states that there is parking. What rhe fail to mention is that What it doesnt say hotel parking is 15 euros per day which is more than double what we paid for parking two blocks away. We are not happy!

Definitely not value for money. The hotel was smelly, there were spider webs on the ceilings and left over for dead spiders on the wall. There is a first and a second door to enter the room. Between those door there are sewer pipes that smell and you can hear the flush from the room above you. Not recommended.

A very pleasant stay for work related business. Easy check in and out. Parking offsite and can be tricky with the one way system. Rooms comfortable and reasonably modern. Hot water and coffee available 24 hours.

Needs a bit of an update on decoration, everything looks a bit tired. Room is comfortable and bathroom clean. Cleaning staff woke us several times insisting they clean the room whilst we were changing before check-out.

A lovely, boutique hotel just a short walk from the central historic area. Just far enough from the crowds. A wonderful breakfast, helpful, friendly and informative host contributed to our enjoyable stay. I would stay here again for sure!
