Ace two nights away

Good location - very good staff - massive breakfasts. Was after Christmas but Christmas Markets and bars in Gent were in full flow.

Nice personal touch by the personnel, making you feel like more than just another guest.

Big rooms and very friendly staff. I accidentally overpaid and they pointed it out. They gave me the difference as a refund. The breakfast is also decent. Well priced too.

Comfortable Stay with Friendly Service

The lady at reception was extremely kind and welcoming. The room we stayed was large, comfortable, and had very good facilities. The hotel is situated on a peaceful street, which made for a relaxing stay. The covered parking was convenient, even though the entrance was a bit tight.

The hotel is about a 30-minute walk from the city centre, which can be inconvenient if you need to go back and forth several times a day.

Perfect location to visit Ghent located just outside the busy tourist areas.

Clean room, good soundproofing, delicious breakfast. The shining star was the staff: friendly and helpful at all times. My son was recovering from a knee injury and Sandra (?) on reception asked if he needed ice and really helped us throughout our stay. All the team is smiley and keen to help out. The Dali restaurant serves tasty food, the daily menu is good value for money.

Maybe the decor is a bit dated, but that did not matter to us.

It was a good hotel for a restful stay .

Spacious unit in a quiet and nice neighborhood. Small kitchenette was useful. Melissa, who checked us in, was very friendly and helpful. She came up and showed us how to use the induction stove( which was tricky]

The living room furniture was a little beaten up . The male helper in the breakfast area could have been more pleasant and welcoming.

Quiet room in the center of Ghent

Although located in the center of Ghent, the rooms are impressively well insulated from street noise. I couldn’t hear any buses or cars passing by, and I slept so well. The rooms are spacious, making them ideal if you plan to do some work during your stay too. I also appreciated that the living room and bedroom are separate, which adds to the comfort.

I wanted to iron my shirt, but the room didn’t have the necessary facilities. Most hotels typically provide an iron, so I was surprised it wasn’t available since they had everything else.

Nice experience

Nice position, 10 min away from the train station and 10 min away from the city centre. Staff were kind and helpful when we asked inforamtion.

They knocked on the door at 8:30 am asking if they could have clean the room and when we let them do it, they didn't touch the bed and didn't change the towels.

Perfect couldn't have been better

Location was about 15mins away from the town but it was really easy to get to. Gent was gorgeous. Castelnou was immaculate and the staff incredibly friendly and polite it was the perfect place for us to stay.

Breakfast was excellent...Brilliant buffet selection..one of the staff, Femka, was very helpful throughout our stay. the manager Michel was also easy to deal with

The location was excellent: within a walking distance form the center, shops and the railway station, yet in a quiet street. The apartment was confortable. Breakfast was good.

Registration at the reception was slow. The apartment was comfortable, but some pieces of furniture were not in good conditions. For example, there were stains on the armchair. The reason why we chose this hotel wsa that it is an aparthotel and gives you the possibility of cooking and having meals in your room. However, the kitchenware provided was less than minimal: three kniwes, two forks....It looked as though nobody had checked the room since a long time. The shower was in the bathtub, which was very slippery. Most signs were only in Flemish.

Room was very clean, which was appreciated. Beds were comfortable and the hotel was vey peaceful and quiet. The walk into the centre of Ghent was pleasant along the river and only 20 mins by foot.

Nothing not to like. Breakfast could have been a bit more expansive but overall was good enough and what was needed ahead of day exploring the beautiful city on foot.

Easy and comfortable stay for a very reasonable price.

The woman at hotel reception was very friendly and helpful during our short stay. The room was comfortable and spacious and the bathroom was also nice. Not too far from the centre and very easy to get to Gent Sint Pieters station. Breakfast was simple but nice.

I wish it had more than just a soap dispenser in the bathroom. Would bring our own toiletries next time.

Good for a budget-conscious stay.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Room was spacious.

Bed and shower were tiny. The bed was comfortable enough, but narrower than anything I have slept on other than a military cot. The shower was so small that it was impossible to keep the curtain from sticking to me and the water pressure was minimal, making for an unpleasant experience, especially after spending over 24 hours in transit to get there. The location is about 20-minutes walk from the city center and there are no shops or restaurants around.

Home away from home

Great location. 15 min walk into the town centre. Bus stop outside straight to the station. Quiet, didn’t hear anything from neighbours. The little kitchenette was handy so I could do a shop and not have to eat out each night. The apartment was spacious and English channels on tv which is always a plus. Sandra on reception was lovely. Friendly, helpful and always smiling.

Bed and pillow was too soft for my liking like sleeping on a big marshmallow. Also safe was on the bottom shelf of cupboard despite there being 3 shelves above. Could have done with it on a higher shelf instead of having to get down on all fours each time.

Very clean. Very uncomfortable sofa and beds. Hosekeeping a bit to early in the morning. Breakfast is until 10.00 AM. Houskeeping knocking at the door at 08.15. One day they did mot return and we did not get clean towles and refill of toilet paper. Location is fantastic. Just between the city centre and train station. Also a very quiet area. Good food and service in the restaurant.

To eraly hosekeeping, and should have invested in a sofa one could actually sit in. And maybe some more sleeping comfort.

Very good hotel, close enough to the centre if you are happy walking for 20 min.

Large rooms, well equipped and good facilities (mini-apartment, so hob and kitchen essentials - not used in our case). Comfortable beds. Air conditioning very quiet and effective. Very helpful and pleasant receptionist.

Be nice to have an iron for creased clothes after travelling.

Very welcoming staff, extremely friendly. Hired a bike which was great.

Air conditioning leaked overnight and kept us awake dripping. When we reported it, as it kept my husband awake they said oh dear not again. They had no spare rooms so we had to accept it. No discount was offered.

Apartment hotel not far from Gent Zuid

Located a bit off the city center, 10 - 15 min walk from Gent Zuid station, in a quiet neighborhood. Easy and quick check-in and check-out. I've arrived on Sunday afternoon, so personnel called me and waited for me. Spacious apartment, living and sleeping rooms, equipped with convenient furniture, including a sofa and a chair, TV, kitchenware, kitchenette and a refrigerator. Bathtub and hairdryer are appreciated. Daily room cleaning. Breakfast was included in the price.

2nd floor garden view is not very exciting. Very noisy AC in the room, external sounds from elevator also were clearly heard. Only one clothes hanger was available. Walls are dark colored. Breakfast is basic, with no variation during the day. Not all personnel are nice and friendly.
