Location is good. Most of sightseeings are within average 15 min on foot.

2 nights for work in Gent.

Spacious, quiet and clean room. Nice and varied buffet breakfast. Friendly staff and central position. Definitely very suitable for a short stay for work.

The overall structure of the hotel, in particular corridors and commons spaces (I had to walk through several corridors to get to my room) inside look a bit neglected and worn out. Also, unfortunately, and despite the mosquito nets on the windows, there were a lot of mosquitoes in my room. I flagged this at the reception so I hope they might do something about it (like including some mosquito repellent in the room).

Awful smell in bathroom from drains, in bad need of upgrade in common areas,paint peeling on terrace no hand rails leading to rooms 15 onwards lights flickering across terrace.

It was a good/normal stay overall—room and location were both fine, nothing out of the ordinary. The only issue was the bathroom, which had a small window that made it possible for people outside to see in. That didn’t feel private and made things a bit uncomfortable

This a perfect place for someone looking to avoid the basic boring big business hotel. I loved it!

I loved the unique character of this older family hotel. Exactly what I expected! The staff was fantastic and the room was big, spotless, and comfortable. I liked the environmental concern. It was a challenge for me because there is no lift, but the front desk helped me without any problem. I would have tried the breakfast if it had cost less

Bed was comfortable and room was a good size. Bathroom was surprisingly large. Room had aircon. Staff were helpful and friendly

Our room on the ground floor was in front of tables and chairs in the courtyard area so the room could be noisy. This also impacted privacy. Staff recognised this and asked people to be quieter, but it’s the hotel layout.

Nice people, pity about the way it is run.

We needed a ground-floor room and permission for early checkin. The staff was very helpful about that, but some staff members did not really have enough English proficiency to answer questions.

The breakfast tables were not cleared until the end of the breakfast period, which meant that tables were left dirty and uncleaned for hours. We were there 5 nights, and breakfast was exactly the same every day. There were flies, and this really detracted from the hotel's impression. There was a persistent smell of cat pee along the walkways, and a general sense of the place being down at heel. I was disappointed to be paying as much as if we had been at a chain hotel but not getting equivalent benefits.

Great for a 1-2 nights

It seems on the map that it’s far from the center but it’s about a 10 minutes walk to the main attractions. I had a foot injury and was still able to walk it. The room was huge and it was clean. I saw some bad comments, unsure what this is about. the hotel has a garden in the middle and it is split into two areas.

breakfast was a bit dull - egg, cheese, ham more or less. Reception was gone at about 6-7pm.
