Accommodation at this hotel was superb! Most comfortable bed and pillow on our European trip so far! Breakfast was fresh and plenty of variety on offer. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Great location to walk around city and train station a 20 min walk away. Would definitely recommend.

This place is a treasure. Just walking in, you can see the fun style of the space. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious, and the location is ideal. There were a few minor things that kept it from being 5 stars: the bathroom door didn’t close, the coffee cups were minuscule, there’s no elevator, and the shower wasn’t sealed properly so water flooded the room if I wasn’t careful with the direction of the shower head. Also, I placed the “do not disturb” sign, but the housekeeping staff cleaned the room anyway, and the pillow had hairs in it (they could’ve been mine, but the bed was made). All these small things would normally have led to a negative review, but the hosts were such genuinely nice people who loved their city and were thrilled to make their guests feel welcome that it wouldn’t be fair to give this place anything less than 4 stars. Would recommend!

We had a lovely 4 nights stay in this beautifully uniquely decorated hotel. We received a lovely warm welcome from the proprietors who spoke good English to ensure our stay was the best it could be. The buffet breakfast had a great selection of sweet and savoury options. The hotel location is great for exploring the city, with numerous restaurants on the door step, a Carrefour for general provisions, and only a 10 minute walk into the main centre, with great shopping opportunities. Parking is on the street and charged at 2euro for 2hrs between 9am and 5.30. We always managed to get a space after 5:30 for free overnight parking. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Very clean and comfortable hotel in an old historic building. The location is ideal for exploring Tours and despite being close to many restaurants and bars it was quiet thanks to effective sound proofing. Staff were very helpful. Before arriving we were well advised about the steep stairs and lack of lift so that was fine, especially when a staff member carried our luggage up for us. However I was mildly concerned that the same wooden staircase was the only fire exit.

I absolutely adored this hotel! The guys who own it are very kind, knowledgeable, warm, and welcoming and their hotel is wonderful! I was in room 18, and it was so cozy and decorated great, very comfortable and just plain really cool. To sum it up, even though I was in a foreign country, with foreign people, a foreign language, with foreign foods and culture, this hotel made me feel right at home! A+++++

Lovely hotel with a nice courtyard you can sit in. Great breakfast and beautifully decorated. The stairs are steep but no problem although quite a drag up to those on the third floor. Lots of resteraunts and a supermarket nearby. Our rooms were quiet and had air conditioning, highly reccomended

This is a beautiful hotel in a very good location. We could walk to the beautiful historical parts of the city for shopping and eating but didn't have to listen to drunk people in the streets at night We would stay here again!

This hotel is tucked away right in the middle of Tours and although there is no parking on site they have an arrangement with a car park 5 minutes away that is secure and underground and 7 euros less than the usual rate if you get a ticket from reception. We walked to the Chateau, cathedral, fine arts museum, old town, basilica, etc.. - all are very convenient as are a wide choice of restaurants and bars. The hotel itself is in an old building that has been updated and decorated in a quirky style that is lovely. There is one central spiral staircase to all floors and no lift so it is not accessible for anyone who can’t climb stairs. Our room on the third floor had air conditioning, shutters a very comfortable bed and modern en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was a selection of sweet pastries, cakes, bread, cold meats, yogurt, cereal, etc… and an excellent coffee machine served buffet style on mix and match fine china. Staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions for our brief stay. I would definitely recommend and return to this hotel.

A charming hotel, well located in vieux Tours and walking distance from restaurants, the cathedral and river banks. Our triple room was comfortable, clean and spacious. The managers were very kind and welcoming, and answered all our questions and suggested things to do during our stay. The buffet breakfast was very good too.

We loved this unique and charming hotel! We stayed in a family room which was large enough for my family of 4 (with 2 teen girls). It was easy to walk to from the main Tours train station (about 1/2 a mile). There were plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The two gentlemen who run the place were friendly and super helpful (even printing out train tickets for me that I couldn’t get digitally). Just be aware that parking is about 1/3 of a mile away, so not right at the hotel. That wasn’t a problem for us, but good to be aware of. All in all, a lovely stay in Tours.

Really cool and funky hotel! Perfect for our short stay. Clean and comfortable room with plenty of space. The location was perfect! You should park at the library nearby which was a 5 minute walk so we didn't take all of our suitcases but it was really close to shopping and restaurants.
