Very convenient location just off the motorway. The room was spotless and had everything one might need: wardrobe, desk, comfortable bed, T.V., wifi. Parking was immediately outside the room making unloading easy. Staff extremely pleasant and helpful. Breakfast superb in quality and variety.
I would have liked a mirror in the bedroom near a socket for hair drying.

Location was excellent, 15 minute walk to the centre. Very handy having a ground floor room adjacent to the parking. Very quiet at night. The room was of a reasonable size - more than sufficient for a two night stay. Bathroom was small but recently refurbished with a good shower.
The WiFi is very poor. I had to walk to reception to even see the network and once back in the room the signal all but disappeared. In the end I relied on the mobile network which also had a weak signal. Breakfast was adequate but not inspiring (didn't bother the second day). Finally, accessing the property by car can be awkward (no reflection on the property by the way). We arrived around 17.30hrs and were directed to approach from the south with the hotel on the left. There was a sign advising no entry 50m beyond the southerly crossroads (this meant you could drive up to the hotel entrance but no further. There was no way with the volume of traffic southbound plus lots of locals pointing to the no entry sign at the crossroads (but ignoring the 'in 50m' bit.) that was going to happen. I would recommend approaching from the north if you are arriving at a busy time.

Location is great for a stop off on journey back from Bordeaux . Great to have safe parking. Ideally placed for walk into town. Plenty of good restaurants to choose from we went to one recommended by hotel it was so lovely we went twice! Brasserie Madeleine.
Breakfasts were good both mornings - plenty of choice.
nothing really all good

Very comfortable bed.
Secured car park perfect for our motorbike.
The town of tours is stunning and definatley worth a visit
Not quiet the old castel that i was expecting but nice all the same. It didn't hit the wow factor. Just an ok clean place to stay for a few nights while looking around tours. I was expecting a castle it was more of a hostel
Was quiet dissapointed on arrival to find no bar or facilities to get a drink after a long 6 hour ride. When we arrive anywhere the first thing we need is a drink.
There was a kettle in the room but no milk available.

The room was very cute, and very clean. We could use the parking in the backyards for free, which was very handy considering the narrow streets.
What stood out was the warm welcome of the staff! They went above and beyond to ensure we are all well set for the stay and have all information needed, and are well fed and have everything for a good time in Tours. An absolute recommendation for the hotel alone due to this level of hospitality!

The staff were lovely. Walking distance to Tours.
It was so old fashioned and quite dismal. More like a motel. It wasn’t a place you’d stay more than one night.

Location
We booked with Booking.com n chose because it read as though breakfast was included, so ver disappointed to find it wasn’t.
Room dark with very small bathroom.
Possibly the disappointment of breakfast not included didn’t help perception of the room

This hotel is a gem, with it being in a great location. Parking was a bonus as the hotel is situated within a couple of minutes from the centre of Tours, close to shops, bars and restaurants. Booking in was quick and staff were very helpful and welcoming. The room was perfect and clean. The room was a good size and very comfortable. We had a good night's sleep and would come back again on the way to our house in France.

We wanted a hotel a bit outside the town center, with a secure place for our car, and found just that, but we also found so much more. This is a quite family hotel, run by the most welcoming and friendly staff, from the women who welcomed us when we arrived to the owner couple serving us the best French breakfast you can desire. We were just driving through, and stayed just one night, but if you want to explore the Loire valley, Castel Fleuri in Tours is the place for you. We will return and do that!

Pascal the manager was a fabulous host and made us very welcome.
there is no bar to relax in as a group - though drinks are available - so get a ground floor room to sit outside with a drink.

We stayed here on the way to the south of France for one night and also on return. We are a family of six and couldn’t recommend more highly.
There was an incredibly friendly welcome by Pascal. We were running a little late to check in but he stayed to welcome us. He was very helpful and gave us a map and kindly recommended places to visit and eat. The hotel was perfectly situated with a beautiful walk across the bridge to the town centre with plenty of bars, restaurants and shops and a wonderful cathedral and museum to walk around as well as old cobbled streets.
Breakfast was the ‘best in the world’ according to our six year old with plenty to choose from. We booked two bedrooms to fit us all in and they were incredibly clean and comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here and we would certainly return if we are doing the same journey again.
