Nice hotel, clean and recently upgraded. Room spacious, large good bed and huge bathroom with great shower. Hotel is opposite train station therefore somewhat dirty area with undesirables hanging around and dealing across the road from hotel. Restaurant hotel is a must try but breakfast average.

Overall very good. Great location near the station and a 10 min walk into town. The room was nice albeit slightly cramped in size. The corridors could do with an update; I am comparing to the Novotel in Lyon which was fantastic. The thing they need to improve is the check-in with only one person to cope with a long queue of people.

Nice hotel. What you would expect for a nice 4 star hotel, but too close to the train station, which is not a nice neighborhood, and 20 minute walk away from the historic center.

Due to initial issues with room (did not get the the superior room as booked) our first impression was not that good. However the staff found ways of compensating us and therefor our impression changes from quite bad to good.

When we arrived for check-in the guest in front of us was having terrible trouble trying to settle his bill, as the employee on the desk could not add up his parking and tax charges for his stay. she clicked on a calculator for 20 minutes, before she agreed with what he had been telling her all along even though she wanted to charge him more than what was owed. when we got to her after his account was settled which was around 25 minutes she didn’t even apologise for the delay or welcome us to the hotel or even say hello, she just said, “name on reservation?” Honestly not the welcome we expected, but thankfully did not reflect the rest of our stay as it was excellent and would happily stay in the hotel again. Roof top pool was also a nice escape from exploring Parma and refreshing when the temperatures were so high.

The hotel was okay overall. Some staff members were really friendly, while others seemed less so—perhaps due to a language barrier. We weren’t allowed to check in before 2 PM, and initially, they wouldn’t even let us complete the paperwork. At exactly 2 PM, an alarm rang and only then were we allowed to check in. They hadn’t even checked beforehand if the room was ready, which felt a bit unfriendly and odd. The room itself was small and a bit worn. It was close to the hallway, and we could hear everything—lots of people walking by and talking. The location is central, which is convenient, but it’s near the train station, so the area felt a little dirty.

I stay frequently here and was disappointed that the past two trips this month the conditioner has not worked. This trip I asked reception 3 times to top it up as the pump didn’t work and called from my room - it was never sorted - very frustrating

Disappointing stay. Air conditioning did not work (even after we had been told that it was corrected) and so I barely slept. Breakfast was very busy….long queues for coffee machine (I waited almost 10 mins) which was difficult for us as he had to leave for a flight.

I had a great stay here, it was especially helpful because I was taking the train so getting to the station was a 2 minute walk! The only downside was the walls/doors were very thin and I was able to hear everyone in the hallways and the rooms next to me so it wasn’t the best night of sleep. But very friendly staff and the room was clean!

This was my second night at hotel We were on floor 1 and near to elevator At 5:00-5:30 am a bunch of people must have been checking out and they were so loud. This was a nice, new modern hotel and we enjoyed many aspects. But the rooms were hot. We asked about AC and were told it was not the season and that we should open the windows for fresh air. Except the hotel is next to the train station and there was a lot of street noise. It led to a very uncomfortable night of sleep.

I was very happy in this hotel and was well looked after. It’s very clean and modern with good breakfasts. It’s a few minutes walk from the railway station and 5-10 minutes walk to the centre of town with endless choices for food and drink. I will happily stay in this hotel again.

The hotel is nice and close to everything, you can walk and get around easily. The staff were pleasant for most part. The reason I say for most part is because I believe they were guided by their management to make a lot of money nick picking decisions. We called to ask for glass to drink wine that we bought and they said no and we can use the expresso size paper cup. We were told at check in that our stay was included with breakfast and she even went over the breakfast times. My wife and I walk down for breakfast and with plates on our hands they asked for our room number and told us our stay doesn’t include breakfast. I told them I was notified at check in that we do indeed get breakfast. Keep in mind this is happening while we’re around other people. The lady was sweet and I know it wasn’t her fault. She went to the back to talk to someone and came back and said yeah no breakfast. Said we can get a pastry and a coffee for 8 euro. 8 euro ill walk down to the city and have a full breakfast which we don’t mind but again we’re told it was included. Neither to say my wife and I embarrassed put our plates back and left. I would never book this place again nor recommend this place for any stay.
