The villa is beyond a treat. Louisa is the best host I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Wonderfully charming stay in Parma

It's an incredibly charming place a few minutes from Parma by car. The host was wonderful and made us feel very welcome.

The bed could have been better, but compared to the overall experience that's an insignificant detail.

Charming old B&B

We loved the location and it was a reasonable taxi ride to City Center. We wanted something charming and that is what we found. The facilities appeared to be an old family home. It was very cozy. Breakfast was included which was good since restaurants were a 10-15 minute walk. Our host was gracious and so sweet. One thing to know is that she speaks Italian and French. We used an internet translator which sufficed. We'd stay there again.

Beds were clean but old and not so comfy. Surprisingly, we still slept well.

Beautiful home, lovely host, excellent breakfast

Beautiful stay and lovely host! A beautiful old home which felt quintessentially Italian. Enjoyed a walk from here into Parma and back. Luisa the host went above and beyond - the most spectacular breakfast and a warm welcome. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Lovely stay

We stayed for two nights and really enjoyed the lovely city of Parma. The place was beautiful, and the room was cozy and clean. Our stay was made even better thanks to our super kind and caring host, Louisa. A big tip: have dinner at the place — it’s delicious, relaxing, and the best part is that you can both enjoy the great wines she serves!

Very friendly host. The B&B is in a beautiful city villa with a nice garden. Lovely place when you are travelling but also to stay a couple of days when you visit Parma. You feel like you are in an Italian movie.

On a short trip to Parma we located this bed and breakfast minutes from the center. A hotel that made me feel like Italians used to live. Surrounded by a beautiful garden and best of all is the wonderful attention of Mrs. Luisa. Thank you for pampering us and making our stay as pleasant as possible. We wil come back

I enjoyed it vey much.

I highly recommend the accomodation. It's close to Uni of Parma and is very quite. The room is clean and spacious and well facilated. The owner is very friendly and offer good breakfast. Everything was good with the accomodation. I enjoyed my staying there very much.

The warm welcome despite our sudden arrival that we booked at the last minute. Louise is a wonderful hostess and baker. She made us feel so at home that my son said that it reminded us of spending time at Nonna’s (Grandma’s) house. ♥️

A charming and memorable stopover.

Lovely old Italian villa with large spacious room and bathroom with antique furniture throughout. Very charming and peaceful. Luisa is an adorable host. We left feeling like old friends. She is also an excellent cook and had we stayed longer would have asked for dinner one night.

My family spent a great time in this very climatic house. We appreciated the very clean and comfortable apartment, good localization – in the silent & calm localization, but still in walking distance to the center of Parma (approx . 20 min walk). The Host is extremely friendly! The evening we spent in the garden drinking a cold prosecco ( the gift from Host), in the morning the Italian breakfast was waiting for us – with the wide range of sweets. Among them was special cake prepared by Host. It was delicious!!! Just before arriving the Host gave us a jar with a handmake jam – it is still in my kitchen and waits for the special occasion! Thanks a lot!

Truly amazing stay

We loved everything, but we have to add that the kindness and hospitality of the hosts was really exceptional! Our hosts prepared us delicious, local breakfasts and a several course dinner which expanded our experience of Parmesan cuisine. The building is well equipped and charmingly rustic. The garden was beautifully curated and a pleasure to relax in.

Il letto. Carina l'idea di lasciare il letto di lana di una volta, ma per me che sono abituata a dormire su un letto duro era davvero troppo morbido, quindi alla fine il mio sonno non è stato ristoratore.

Hubo un problema con la reserva, la cual estaba cobrada completamente, pero al llegar nos dice la dueña que no había ninguna reserva que estaba completo, no fue muy agradable en el trato, al final tuvimos que buscarnos un alojamiento de última hora que booking se encargó de compensar la diferencia de precio ya que no encontramos nada con las mismas condiciones y al mismo precio.

Étape agréable au calme, entre le centre de Parme et l’autoroute

Belle grande chambre au mobilier d’époque avec sdb attenante. Villa familiale au charme intemporel. Hôte charmante et aux petits soins. Très bon petit déjeuner avec quelques douceurs maison. Excellent point de chute pour une étape vers l’Adriatique : parking dans la propriété, à 5min de l’autoroute. A moins de 10min en voiture du centre de Parme. Très bonne adresse 😃

Vacker trädgård och vackert hus. Bra parkering inom låsta grindar.

Kallt på rummet och dåligt med varmvatten. Dåligt med varma täcken. Dåliga madrasser. Vissa möbler var trasiga. Typisk italiensk frukost med andra ord kakor. Yogurt med müsli fanns.

Ottima e abbondante colazione, genuina e casalinga. Non è il mio caso, ma a qualcuno avrebbe potuto far piacere anche qualcosa di salato, che invece era mancante. Villa liberty suggestiva circondata dal verde. La Sig.ra Luisa il vero valore aggiunto.

L’atmosfera di Antica Emilia. Il profumo del giardino, i letti e gli arredi originali, compreso l’antico materasso a mollettoni, un salto indietro nel tempo: sembra di essere a casa della zia, che non vede l’ora di rivedere i suoi nipoti! Più che un albergo, è una casa dove ci si può sentire di famiglia. Il tempo si ferma in Villa Tanzi: la colazione, servita nella sala da pranzo, con tanto di vetrina e fiori di campo, vuole il suo tempo per assaggiare tutte le torte di Luisa, oltre a un vasto assortimento di croissant, succhi di frutta, cappuccino, tè, yogurt e cereali, paninetti salati, frutta. Inoltre, se fa piacere, la compagnia discreta e serena della padrona di casa è un guadagno inestimabile. Prodiga di consigli su cosa fare e dove andare, è anche eccellente cuoca su richiesta, sua passione tramandata come vuole la tradizione emiliana. È un’esperienza immersiva più che un soggiorno!

Per chi si aspetta i servizi di un albergo sarà deluso. È un vero e proprio bed and breakfast! La generosità di chi mette a disposizione la casa non è paragonabile a una struttura alberghiera!
