Staff were amazing and so friendly, they all looked the part, very well dressed and never walked passed and not said hello, they were genuinely friendly and kind, morning and night, cleaners were friendly and always smiling, kids absolutely loved it, we had the twin connecting rooms and it was clean and very well kept, kids got to play in the football ground, all the kids joined forces and played together, which they enjoyed very much, it was really lovely, everyone was very friendly, connecting cafe next door was great, food was amazing, definitely recommend Old Trafford tour, it was a fantastic family experience, thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. And hoping to book a match day soon and will be staying again. Only down fall the hotel itself which let it down just slightly was the roof on the football stadium, had some dotted leaks when it was raining, not big drips but none the less had leakage.

The location is second to none. Right next door to the stadium and an easy 3 min walk to the trams. However for me that’s where it stops being exceptional. On our arrival the desk agent was very huffy because I’d booked a second night at a different time and she had to combine them. Our room was allocated and it was nice and clean as was the bathroom. However I had trouble getting in and out of the shower as there wasn’t any hand rails. Whilst it was clean there was pubic hairs on the floor. The redeeming feature was the heated towel rail. At this price point I expected at least a tea/coffee maker or a kettle consider there’s very little option to go anywhere around the location. The restaurant burgers tasted sous vide and thrown on the grill, the fish and chips tasted as though they were warmed up. For me and what I’ve been paying for hotels during my visit home this felt overpriced and underserving of the high star ratings
