Portree accom

Pasha was very responsive and the house was nice and had most things we needed. When I requested a bigger pan for cooking this was provided. Was great having toys for the kids to play with and a washing machine 😀

There were a few things that needed sorting unfortunately. The coffee machine leaked and had to be cleaned up regularly, curtains in the bedrooms were inadequate for the light and a broken light fitting in the bedroom. The place was smaller than I'd thought it was going to be for the price. Other than that it was nice and warm and easy for sight seeing.

As someone recovering from a leg injury I hadn’t realized there would be stairs. Maybe I missed it somehow in the listing but I think for people with accommodation issues you should make sure it more clear. I managed them and it was fine but if I had know. At the time I booked I might have considered it more closely.

The cottage was a great place to stay while exploring the beautiful Isle of Skye.

The property was well appointed with nice amenities and some thoughtful extra touches. The cottage was very clean. It was a good location, just a short walk to the square.

Lovely, well-located, and bright apartment that was perfect home base for our travels on Skye.

The location - within walking distance of Portree's main square yet still quiet - was ideal. The bed was super comfy and the availability of toiletries and snacks was a nice added touch.

The key didn't properly lock the door though we didn't realize this until the last day (so were delayed in reporting to the host, who was very responsive).

A very good place to stay when visiting Isle of Skye

Everything one needs is there, one can just go and live there. The location is nice and the house was big enough for a family of four.

Comfortable and convenient

The apartment had everything we needed for our family of 4. There’s 2 bedrooms upstairs (one with a queen and the other with 2 singles). There were little extras which were appreciated like snacks, tea, coffee and some kids toys. It is a short walk into Portree. The apartment was easy to find and has a designated parking spot. We ate at the Portree Hotel (Antlers) for my husband’s birthday and it was very good. We did one of the hikes that the host had listed in their welcome book, it was called the The Quairing. The whole thing took about 3 hrs. with kids but the views were magnificent.

La propriétaire était à l écoute des remarques effectuées. Le logement était situé à 5min de la place centrale et il comprend une place de parking incluse.

La propreté n était pas à la hauteur de nos attentes: eau restée dans la bouilloire, cheveux sur les produits de douches, vaisselles douteuses, linges tâches, poussière un peu partout, odeur de renfermée, frigo et four sales... il n y avait pas de pression dans la douche et pas d'eau chaude si quelqu un se lave les mains en même temps. Ce que d'autres ont noté comme petites attentions nous ont semblé être des restes des clients d avant: reste de produits de douche, de listerine, reste de café, reste de kellogs, bref... pour moi ce ne sont pas des attentions mais des restes non éliminés. Le lit double est tout petit. Il y avait 3 sèches cheveux, mais là aussi: un ne marche pas, l autre n avait pas d adaptateur donc pas utilisable... J ai écrit tout cela à la propriétaire. Elle a dit qu'elle allait passé le soir même mais n est pas venue. Pour le prix payé, en Suisse on aurait eu quelques chose de vraiment mieux. Donc très déçue
