Very clean, spacious & comfortable! The home had everything we needed and more. Convenient location to stroll into town. Host Iian was always quick to respond to any questions and so helpful. We too enjoyed the little welcome basket and champagne gift to toast my daughter’s wedding! Thank you so much for an excellent stay!

Could happily live here.

Every now and then you stay at a property where you think, “Oh ya, I could easily live here.” This is definitely one of those. This house has new and modern interiors that are very tastefully designed. The large kitchen with massive island and wall of windows overlooking the charming backyard with mountain view is where we spent most of our time. At the end of days spent exploring, we unwound in the spacious and comfortable living room with the very big smart TV. The bathrooms and bedrooms are exceptionally well done, and the entire property is thoughtfully outfitted with the best of every convenience you could possibly need. The owners clearly did their research on how to assemble the perfect vacation rental. Add to that, you’re conveniently located only 8 minutes walk to charming downtown Portree. We stayed in 5 properties during our Scotland trip, this was far and away the best. (PS, we left something behind and the owners very graciously arranged to have it shipped to us. Great hosts!)

Modern, well equipped house

Very nice house and outdoor area. Situated in short walking distance from the center of Portree. We were 3 couples staying for three nights, great luxery feeling with separate, nice bathrooms. Good beds with nice linen. The house is very well equipped for making and serving food. We also used the barbeque wich was nice.

The whole property is large for group of 6, each has their own bathroom. Everything is sparkling clean with lovely backyard for peaceful morning coffee.

It will be better if shampoo or shower gel was provided.

It is luxurious and clean. The equipment and furniture is of high standard. The welcoming letter with refreshments is very warm and thoughtful.

There is not enough hot water after some of us take a bath. It is a bit disappointing.

This place made our stay at Portree very special!

One is quite unprepared for the impact when you enter the home. The living and dining area is vast, beautifully appointed, well lit and bright with large floor to ceiling windows overlooking the garden and deck from the dining/kitchen area. A lovely welcome basket filled with beverages and snacks lay on the kitchen island and everything required for us five, in terms of cutlery, crockery, cleaning, utensils was available. Rooms are discreetly behind a door and surprisingly large with walk in closets, large shower areas. The home has all the amenities you would need. It is a 10 minute walk to center of Portree and all the restaurants etc. The owners were prompt and responsive to our questions, requirements. Parking in your own driveway is ofcourse always a bonus and always appreciated if you're road-travelling around Scotland. In fact, we spent most of our evenings with take-aways at home enjoying the place. The home seems newly renovated and everything was spotlessly clean, lovely smelling and very well designed. Did i add very spacious? A great place

This place is a 10/10 but as always things can get incrementally better for guests with just small inclusions. I would suggest just 3 things 1. Handtowels 2. Toiletries (except for hand wash soap there was none) 3. Beds while comfy, seem a little smaller than a Queen. Becomes uncomfortable for a couple

Lovely home laid out beautifully and well appointed. It had a nice grill and a good yard to relax in. Everything was very comfortable.

The only minor issue was one room could have had 2 singles rather than a double.

It was a perfect, relaxing stay for our visit to Portree

The house and property are exceptional! Lots of space, and everyone having their own bathroom made nights and mornings much easier. The hosts were very responsive(I only had to call because I checked the wrong message for the code), and we appreciated the welcome basket! The location is great. It's quiet, but just a short walk to the center of town. I will definitely look to stay there again if we get to return to Portree

No7 Glamaig Place provides all three of my requirements for a 10/10 stay: Amazing house, amazing location, and amazing hospitality! The owners are very friendly and hospitable, they respond immediately to every communication and they even provided a gift basket for me and my company. The house is truly great; it was thoroughly cleaned (you couldn't even see dirt), it is equipped with everything anyone can possibly imagine and also high quality items. The location also is very nice as it's in a quiet neighbourhood with family houses and view to the mountains. All in all, an incredible experience!

Fabulous house, fabulous holiday

A beautifully presented and exceptionally well-equipped property. The interior is really well laid out and the garden and deck are perfect for relaxing - a real sun-trap. We cooked in the lovely kitchen and on the pro-style BBQ. Portree is a great base for exploring Skye, with some lovely cafes and little restaurants (although it’s hard to book so you do either have to get there early, be prepared to wait, or get lucky).

The only thing that could possibly have been improved on was the beds. They were all small doubles and two of our party are over 6 ft - a bit of a squash.

Very good localisation. You can acces all desired localisations on the island with ease. Close to the centre city. Suprisingly comfortable, spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchen with a nice view on the garden. The house is not only practical, but it`s great place for relax.

Alles! Die beste Unterkunft auf unserer Schottlandreise (wenn nicht sogar die beste Unterkunft auf vielen Roadtrips, die wir bereits gemacht haben)! Eine Küche, die keine Wünsche übrig lässt. Herzliche Gastgeber (tolles Willkommenspaket und super Informationsordner), die sogar auf Deutsch mit uns kommuniziert haben.

Wow, wat een ruimte! Zowel binnen als buiten, als in de badkamers, de keuken en de woonkamer, heerlijk! De relax stoel was favoriet bij mijn zoon, de keuken was heerlijk om in te koken.
