Great stay! Would return!

Location was excellent! Walkable to town square and restaurants, grocery store. Cute place! Room for my family of 5. Nice shower.

Had difficulty with the washer/dryer and dishwasher. No streaming but that was expected on the island.

Quiet comfy holiday accommodation in a well sorted duplex cottage

Well set up cottage in a quiet location with very good utilities and comfy bed.

Instructions to clean up the rubbish but bins full already! The request to take out bins on a non-existent schedule to a distant kerb side seemed rather rude for the cost of the stay. What do the property managers/cleaners do?

Reservation cancelled by the host!!

The property cancelled our reservation at the last minute without notice: at around 6pm we realised we had not received the check-in details and the property was not responding (the last message was in the morning when they said they would send me the check-in details). We had to contact Booking to get a reply, which was obviously negative.

Cozy cottage in Portree, near a local grocery store

Well thought out, tastefully finished and equipped.

We found the layout of the various switches around the house confusing. Some labels could help. The dryer does not seem to work unless you empty the extracted water in the residual tank at the bottom, a setup that was unusual for us.

Great spot for exploring Skye

Great location for exploring Skye. Plenty of space for a group of four.

The outdoor space was nice although the patio furniture was dirty. It could use a good wash. The dryer did not work so well. We were able to clean out lint that had accumulated, and it worked a little better, but loads still needed to be run twice. Wi-Fi was not good.

Really nice property. The rooms are very nice . Very comfortable. Great location. Can walk to town very easily. We recommend walking across the school sport field right across the street from Pebble Cottage instead of walking the street. It’s literally a direct short walk to the town square. Having a washer and dryer was really nice. I’d recommend staying at least 2 nights to use as a base to explore Skye.

matress where awful and the fith bed was a wood japanseese uncofortable in the floor, it could have been a sofa bed. Also only one pan in kitchen. kitchen utilities poor. Water pressure

Great stay, except for the problematic showers.

Generally a very nice property. Location was convenient. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Parking on-site was very convenient, right by the front door. The entry way provided a very convenient area for boots, jackets, rain gear, etc.

The only problem was the showers. One shower did not work at all. The second shower functioned poorly; was difficult to turn on/off, regulate flow and temperature. Communication attempts with the host did not resolve the problems.

The house is amazing!! The owner/carer of the house left a detailed and thoughtful message on how to get the key, operate all the appliances at home, and even suggest us where to go. It is a perfect holiday home, with very good access to the Portree town center. The house is very well designed and we could tell that the owner/carer of the house is doing great on taking care of it. All the rooms are exactly like the photos, very clean, and I love the scent of the fragrance sticks and soaps.

Skye is fantastic and well worth a visit. However, this property is not worth the money and not well managed if you do.

Location

Wifi was non-existent and despite many reviews with the same problem, the property owners and the management team were unwilling / unable to do anything about it. Also the comms was not great. When I tried to contact the person listed in the welcome pack, I received a very quick reply to say they were no longer associated with that property and that they should have been removed. Finally, there was a power outage in Portree on the last day of our visit and there were no torches, candles or matches available to use. Had to make do with mobile phone torches.

Amazing stay.

Excellent location. We were able to walk into to town within 5 minutes. Clean, comfortable and convenient. Washing machine and dryer were a godsend as we were on a road trip. Thank you for all the snacks and beer. Spacious and very clean kitchen. Chargrill restaurant was less than 5 minutes away. Lovely food.

Lack of WiFi. We had to pay 40 pounds to gain WiFi. The WiFi only supported one person and we needed to do meetings and such. Also need directions for the dryer.

Great location, shortcut to Portree - easy walking distance. Nice roomy place in quiet group of homes full size fridge and nice entry way to hang coats. Fire pit outside

A few plugs not working and not fixed to wall. Lovely sitting area out back but no flowers (understandable with rental). Lovely washer and dryer with fabric softener but no washing powder. Main oven didn’t work (but smaller one and microwave did). It would be handy to have instructions for eg the TV

Excellent stay in super clean and convenient location

Great location, super clean and convenient. Lovely place. Would definitely stay again! Very well cleaned and maintained. Close walk to the town center to grab a bite to eat, groceries etc.

Great cottage - the front door was very tricky to lock so we used the back door. The neighbor yelled at us one night as we were fumbling with our keys because we were too “loud”. It was not even 10 pm and we were literally just unlocking to get in.

The house is really great, clean, the bathrooms are well equipped, the kitchen is large. A great welcome gift, it's very nice.

No dishwashing liquid, not all dishes are put in the dishwasher. The dryer was not working properly, it dried for 15 minutes then turned off. WiFi was a disaster, it didn't work at all, neither did the TV, which is a pity because in much worse destinations WiFi worked like a rocket ...

The furniture and decor, equipment and location. All great. Hosts left nice welcome gifts like local beer, crisps and biscuits.

Oven trays were nowhere to be found. It was not clear in the description if final cleaning was included. There was no hoover so we presumed we were not supposed to clean, just tidy up.

Very poor wifi.

Property was nicely dressed. But that was the least I wanted without proper internet . Nice bathrooms Closer to portree town.

Very poor wifi. Good Internet is a must requirement for me. TV was not setup. No channels were working. Cannot watch any Youtube or netfluxdue to slowness of Internet . Dryer was not working properly . No proper instructions was given to advise we need to empty the water tub when it gets full. Had to figure it out by myself. Kitchen windows need blinds. Cannot do any work their during sunset. Message sent via booking.com was not answered. We dont have phones to ring given numbers and we expect to get replies via booking.com platfirm.

Absolutely a wonderful place to stay!

Fantastic place! Directions to gather keys was very easy. Loved the layout and decor! Very spacious but would recommend letting guests know to leave curtains closed during the day to help keep the place cooler since there is no AC.

Casa muy cuidada, con todo lo necesario para poder estar varios días en ella con la familia y disfrutar de Skye. Al llegar nos encontramos unos regalos de bienvenida que los disfrutamos. Además de que tienen muchas ayudas para ver opciones de actividades a realizar. La cocina y habitaciones espectaculares y todo super limpio.

Casa tranquila en Portree

Estaba muy nuevo y era muy agradable y acogedor. Ubicado en Portree, una de las principales ubicaciones en Skye. La cocina muy bien pero con muy poco menaje. Supermercado a 10 minutos. Perfecto para una familia. Los anfitriones nos dejaron sus recomendaciones de la isla y unos aperitivos de bienvenida que nos encantaron! Tiene un pequeño jardín muy agradable y chimenea.

El sofá cama no estaba desplegado y no sabíamos bien cómo funcionaba. Estaría bien instrucciones para las cerraduras porque nos costó descubrir que para cerrar y abrir tienes que poner el manillar hacia arriba. No supimos apagar la calefacción y hacía mucho calor.
