The unit was ideal for a family vacation stay. Very homely feel to it. It has all the amenities for a family and cooking facilities was well equipped. Good parking for the car and location was perfect.
The beds were lacking support, especially the double bed. Could have been better with better beds. Had sore backs after sleeping on them.

The location was perfect for visiting Portree as well as sites on the Isle of Skye. Parking was very convenient. Space was perfect for traveling with my son and daughter. We especially enjoyed the electric fireplace in the lounge; really made the space cozy in the mornings and evenings.
We were not sure how to use the shower (couldn’t get hot water to a comfortable temperature and be maintained for the length of the shower) and washer/dryer controls were not intuitive and there were no instructions available that we could find so we struggled a bit with these but this was a little inconvenience.

Location was central - good parking - clean, efficient space and quiet- excellent view of the harbour.
The shower drainage was compromised /inefficient and water pooled and threatened to flood the bathroom floor. Single beds restricted leg room due to bed frames - mattresses soft.

great location for walking around Portree, also easy to get out of to tour the island

Window views is not as shown but still decent. The location is at just outside of the town. It’s quiet and walkable to restaurants and the grocery store. The apartment comes with a parking space which is a big help in Portree.
This is my first time to give a “bad” review on any accommodations that I have experienced.
The apartment is very dusty. A layer of dust rest on top of furniture even on top of beds’ headboards. We had to do a cleaning job before to open our luggage. Dust-bunny hanging over the top of a big mirror in the small hallway. No paper towels provided which was very inconvenient in a not clean apartment. Shampoo and detergent came with a busted dispenser or random bottles.
The shower was so pathetic because very low water flow. It’s like you were showing in a mist. If to turn the volume a little higher, the temperature fluctuates to sudden high or to sudden cold. The drain was plugged. Even with a misty shower flow the dirty water would over flow the pan quickly.
Kitchen table and chairs were squeezed into a corner. We notice a broken chair so we didn’t dare to pull the table out, so only one person could sit at the table. While I was using the kitchen sink, I smelled sort of sewer gas every time when the wash machine discharged. I don’t know the British standard, but I do think to connect a dish washer and a cloth washer to upper stream of the kitchen sink trap without an airgap is non-sanitary.
Two single beds in the second bedroom were too short for a 5’-9” person. Blankets were too short to cover feet comfortably. Again, that could be different standards in Britain.
The living room is small but with decent furniture. It’s just the fireplace was only for look. It didn’t help in these cold and super windy days while we were in Skye. Maybe we didn’t find a switch?

We loved how perfectly located the apartment was — just a short walk into Portree town and such a great base for exploring the Isle of Skye. The apartment was clean, spacious, and as advertised. The host’s thoughtful touches, like the snacks left for us, made us feel very welcome. Reliable Wi-Fi, a good TV setup, plus the washing machine and dishwasher made our stay even more comfortable.
The mattresses could use an update as they weren’t very comfortable, and the shower has incredibly low water pressure.

Great location with easy walking distance to the main downtown area. Great view of the town and the water. Would highly recommend to anyone passing through the area!

Very good location. Great for a small family. Just up the hill from a main street and coop (where you get groceries, liquor). All amenities were available in the kitchen. Little fans in each room was nice.
There was a little noisy until midnight with sounds from the pub below (faint music and singing) but nothing major - children would sleep through it.

Very well equipped apartment in an excellent location. Very close to the centre of town and to the bus stops.
Good heating and a wonderful view. Good bathroom and comfy beds.
Great communication with the hosts.
Nothing to dislike. The rooms are on the small side if you have suitcases, like we did. But didn’t really matter.

Location and parking are great. Wonderful place to stay after a cold and windy tour around Skye. All amenities included within apartment. No need to shop for household things.
Bed mattresses need to be replaced - worn out and not comfortable.

Everything! The view was superb and we loved the little outdoor seating area. The apartment had everything we needed for our short stay including a well stocked kitchen with coffee & tea and washer/dryer. Great to have a parking spot and only a few minutes walk to restaurants and pubs.

We arrived in the dark and the views from the apartment upon sunrise was breathtaking!! The apartment was perfectly located to explore the Isle of Skye. The self help guide gave information about sights and restaurants which was very helpful. CoOp just down the road and restaurants and bars all within walking distance. Comfortable, clean and great communication with hosts. Will definitely return in Summer!

This apartment probably has everything anyone could need for a long term stay. We were impressed overall and would stay here again. Designated parking out front. Easily walk into downtown with groceries at the end of the street. A great base for exploring the Isle of Skye.
I can't think of anything.

The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to wash our clothes and hang them on heated racks.
The location is excellent, the grocery shop and village was very close.
The bed are really in bad shape and therefore not comfortable. The room are very very small, you can’t open a luggage in the room and walk around easily.

We met the owner of the building who was very hospitable and friendly. The property gave us fantastic access to the best of Portree with a 2 minute walk to the bus stop (for a day tour) as well as downtown shops and restaurants. The kitchen and living room area had plenty of room for the four of us, including comfy sofa and love seat we used at the end of the day. Wifi was consistent and strong and the water pressure good. Very professionally run facility.

A warm and cosy apartment with a spectacular view over Portree bay and surrounding mountain range. The kitchen and bathroom have been upgraded with modern fittings. Plenty of heaters in every part of the apartment. Less than 2 minute walk to the town centre with easy access to cafes and restaurants. Large carpark for guests.
The apartment is extremely small, we had difficulty keeping two suitcases.
