Lower Flat, Nicolson House.

The flat was clean and comfortable. Donnie did a great job communicating about the check-in process.

Parking on the square was very limited and short term only. The long term lot was a 5-10 minute walk and down a hill and/or stairs. You had to feed the meter daily, and if you left with your car during the day the was no guarantee of a spot when you returned. We used the long term lot to park and the taxi lanes close to the flat to load and unload luggage.

Everything was wonderful! We really enjoyed the gift basket.

It was perfect!

Excellent location, quality interiors, spacious, thoughtful welcome basket of eggs, bread, and other goodies, which we appreciated as we arrived late. Check in was also smooth. Host communicated details well in advance.

1) Bed is too small for a regular size couple. I ended up having to sleep in the living room so my husband could sleep comfortably in the small bed. Also the short bed frame in the master bedroom rendered that bed not usable for my husband, who is only 5’10”. He ended up having to switch room with our daughter, whose bed did not have a bed frame. 2) shower is far too small even for me who’s a petite person weighing 100 pounds 3) not enough supplies (e.g, toilet paper, pape towels, blankets,etc) and management was unwilling to provide the extra even when requested. We are three people staying for four nights. We don’t think it’s unreasonable to request slightly more supplies. For the price we paid ($500 USD per night), we felt nickel-and-dimed. 4) requiring that we the guest wash and restock the dishes and take out the trash on departure. Aside from being somewhat unfair to the guest who already paid for the cleaning fees as part of the rent, it’s not good quality control practice. It is the host’s job to ensure that all dishes are properly sanitized for the next guests. Relying on the departing guests to provide that assurance is unacceptable. Note that the flat does not have a dishwasher. So the dishes are just as clean as the departing guests are willing to make the effort to wash them properly. All in all it was a decent place to say. But to justify the price it needs to improve its customer service mindset.

The location and the comfort. The host provided everything necessary for breakfast which was most appreciated, There is a nice restaurant below which we enjoyed a fantastic dinner. The apartment was very quiet.
