Lovely stylish place to stay. Central location in Portree.

Loved the property, clean, spacious and very stylish. Welcome pack- including dog treats and gin was a lovely touch.

I did have reservations about the parking but the public car park was only a couple of minutes walk away, and free, so it was fine.

Great apartment, nice and welcoming hosts in Portree

Well equipped apartment and nice welcome package, which we appreciated a lot. Absolutely clean. Great loacation to discover the Isle of Skye. Parking lot close by, also for electro-cars (not for free). Easy handling of key pickup and return.

As the apartment is above a restaurant, it‘s quite noisy because of loud music (approx. between 5pm until 11pm).

Great place to stay to experience Skye

The apartment was very large and comfortable with a big living room, and kitchen with large dining table. The hosts left loads of provisions including fresh eggs, milk, orange juice, butter, jam and bagels - everything for a great breakfast. The location is nice, right in Portree. Although it was over a popular restaurant we weren't bothered by noise or smells from below. It was nice to have a washing machine and drying rack. Given the wet weather the drying rack was especially helpful!

It’s right in the heart of town. Layout is good, and the owner is very helpful and nice.

Sometimes in the early evening, we can hear bass music coming from somewhere. Probably a restaurant nearby. Not a big deal as it is quite soft.

Cosy apartment in an excellent location in Portree

The property is in a very good location. The apartment is big, cosy and very nicely decorated. The host left us a food basket which we enjoyed for breakfast and was very clear in his instructions on how to retrieve the keys to the apartment and where we could find the closest paid & free parking around the neighbourhood. His attention to detail in exceptional. Highly recommended for 3-4 pax for an enjoyable stay.

The drainage in the fitted shower room was slow so we had to be mindful not to "flood" the shower floor. We did laundry for 1 night and found that the laundry rack was broken and had to make do. Everything else was perfect.

A lovely flat on the main square in Portree so ideally placed. Well decorated and with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Communication with host very good too.

The unit was ideally located near the heart of Portree. The apartment was beautifully decorated with all amenities needed for a comfortable home-feel stay! We appreciated the magical touch of a handwritten card welcoming us! Thank you for the lovely getaway! Highly recommend!

Loved Nicholson house

Very comfortable bed and pillows, really appreciated the stocked kitchen including milk and orange juice in the fridge, as well as tea, coffee, eggs and bagels. Very central location for seeing sights on Skye.

Right above busy restaurant and a bar across the street, so sometimes noisy, especially if windows were open. Need more light in hallway to suites- could not see lockbox numbers!

Amazing and exceptional.

Location was perfect, very central, close to everything in Portree. Apartment was super clean. The host placed a half dozen eggs, milk, bagels, OJ, snacks as welcome gift that were really helpful in our next day breakfast. Really appreciated. The decoration in the apartment was tasteful. Having a washer was quite helpful. The fact the host let us know where to find free parking was really nice and helpful.

Things that could be better; just to nitpick: - a bedding for a guest to sleep on the floor or couch. The apartment is for 4 guests and there are 2 bedroom, with a decent sized bed in each room. However, in an event if two guests don't want to sleep together in 1 bed then it'd be great to give an option of a folding mat and bedding for them to sleep on the floor or couch. - For some reason we stopped getting hot water on the 2nd day of our stay. Apparently, the water heater switch got turned off. Perhaps the host could label/tag the critical switches in the house so the guests could self serve but no big deal overall.

The apartment was incredible, really well decorated, homely and comfortable. One of the best rentals I've stayed in! The host was very communicative which meant finding the apartment and parking was really easy and even gave us some really helpful information of where in town was dog friendly etc.

The apartment was beautiful and very clean. We appreciated the extra touches of orange juice, milk and bagels. communication was excellent. the beds were very comfortable. we would definitely stay here again.

A fantastic apartment.

A beautifully furnished apartment in the most central location. The host provided some welcome gifts / supplies that were gratefully received. I can't recommend this place highly enough. It made a wonderful trip to this glorious island all the more special.

The 4pm check in time was a little late. We wasted a whole day killing time waiting to unload the car. Having said that, the host did contact us as soon as the cleaning was done to tell we could check in a little earlier.
