Lovely house

Lovely size. Close to carpark

The back bedroom upstairs had awful springs and we could feel the base through it. Were some ring stains in both cupboards which was a shame

Enjoyable stay close to the city centre

Spacious and bright house, would definitely stay again! A very short walk to the city centre (although it is a bit of an excercise since it is on top of a hill/steep steps). Very clean (apart from the kitchen). We had a slight problem with the sink, but the host fixed it the same day.

The kitchen was not properly cleaned, greasy utensils in the drawer and a dirty kettle. In one of the upstairs double bedrooms the mattress springs are worn out, so that bed was not that comfortable.

Very enjoyable stay and everything you needed just like home from home apart from the hills

The property was very clean and tidy and everything you needed to relax/ not so good if you have problems with your mobility as very steep hills

The only problem was in the hallway there’s a rug and could be a trip hazard

Very comfortable house with modern decor

Lovely, spacious house with 3 good sized double bedrooms. Calming and modern decor with super soft carpets! A well equipped kitchen and spacious table in a separate dining room Walking distance to town and beach if you don’t mind the hills!

On street parking so often tricky to find a space. The nearby car park is extortionate prices!

Size and general value for money. Situated close to where We wanted to be.

Unfortunately parking wasn't great, not the owners fault as thats a Torquay thing We knew about. Would like to discuss a couple of things with the owner and I'm sure they would contact Me.

Loved the house, clean and well presented. No problems with anything. Host kept us informed of arrivall times etc. Close to town and within walking distance but a couple of big hills that my parents struggled with a bit they just got a taxi so not a deal breaker

House is great, good size, and comfortable. Not far to walk into town, but if you're not young or as agile, then the hills/steps will get you, we walked in but got a taxi back.

Could have some curtains on the bedroom windows, blinds are good but when the sun was up early it meant I was too

Beautiful house with big rooms. Landlord was great, brilliant communication. The house is clean and beautifully decorated. Brilliant value for money. We had a slight problem with the hot water & landlord came and sorted it within less than an hour. Would recommend x

Great location and lovely property. Perfect for travelling with kids. Lots of information left about local trips, facilities and amenities.

A later check out time would have been better as getting kids up and out by 10am can be difficult.

Feiner Sommerurlaub bei besten Wetter in angenehmer Unterkunft

Großes und angenehmes Ferienhaus; vier Zimmer mit guten Betten - allerdings in zwei Fällen nur 190 cm lang, was die Möglichkeiten dann doch etwas eingeschränkt hat. Reihenhaus in angenehmer Umgebung; rechter Nachbar etwas lärmig, aber nur bis gegen 22 Uhr. Eigentlich gute Ausstattung, Küche ist gerätemäßig top ausgestattet und sehr komfortabel, schöner Speiseraum mit großem Tisch. Wirklich gute Kommunikation über booking.com mit dem Vermieter - der allerdings telefonisch zwischendurch nicht erreichbar war. Wir haben uns im Ferienhaus wohl gefühlt.

TV ist nur übers internet nutzbar - das findet unsere Zustimmung keineswegs. Wir sind keine Serienjunkies und hätte gern auch mal einfach per Knopfdruck die BBC-Nachrichten etc. gesehen, was kaum mühelos möglich war. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist auf sechs Personenn ausgelegt, was in Ordnung erscheint. Nur leider sind eben keine zweiten Garnituren von Besteck und Tassen/Tellern vorhanden (außer in Plastik). Deshalb mussten wir trotz des wirklich exzellenten Geschirrspülers auch ständig per Hand spülen. Lästig. Parkplatzfinden ist schwierig: bis zu 15 Minuten Gehweg, auch steil bergauf, ist einzukalkulieren. Irreführender Eintrag in der Karte bei booking.com, das Haus liegt in der Warren Street, aber in der der See abgewandten Seite - der per Karteneintrag suggerierte Meerblick ist nicht möglich!
