Not up to Date enough and clean enough for me

Breakfast wasn’t included as it was an apartment

Lounge very poor! Grubby cushions that smelled TV absolutely Rubbish and channels Brown plant! Horrible Dark Kitchen not nice smell not clean enough for me! Didn’t like the feel not inviting place! Circumstances stopped me from saying what I was unhappy about!

Location was great and our large family group could book 2 separate apartments within the same property and bring a dog.

Furniture and fittings were functional rather than Comfy but the bed was luxurious

Everything had a fantastic 2 wks. Would have liked to stay on for another week or two but it was booked up.

Noisy road. Not enough parking space. But the hotel next door accommodate us with a parking spot. Lovely people.

Great few nights

Lovely apartment, everything was really clean and the decor modern and welcoming. Plenty of room for four adults, great location easy to walk into town. Philip replied quickly to our requests being extremely helpful allowing an early check in. Thank you for a great stay.

Only downside is the sloping carpark, and climb up to the front door but that is Torquay!

The house is a short walk from the town's harbour. Close to lots of pubs and restaurants. Very comfortable beds. The apartment has everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Extremely clean. I would happily go back there again.

Nice spacious apartment in general though we found the bedroom a bit on the small side, the bed however was very comfort

Good location not far from the sea front, bars & restaurants.

There was a small problem with the blind in the bedroom, but this was quickly fixed to our satisfaction by Philip.

Amazing owners, amazing apartment

The apartment is very well equipped and furnished, and is spacious and spotlessly clean. The owners are very friendly and they took every step to make our stay as comfortable as possible. We had a slight misunderstanding about the apartment and hadn't realised it was upstairs. This was only a problem because we were visiting our sister who has difficulty walking and had wanted her to come for a meal at the apartment. In the end, she managed the stairs but in the meantime, the owners had kindly offered us the use of the dining room at their B&B and even brought our sister some flowers as an apology. They really did go above and beyond!

Nothing! Some reviews have commented on the hill from the town but we didn't find it bad at all. Torquay is a hilly town but there are far bigger hills than the one up to the apartment!

Was perfect for a short break for 2 couples. (Would be great if you're staying longer too)

Great location, 10 minute walk to the seafront. Great space: 2 good bedrooms, and private bathrooms (1 ensuite and the other is virtually ensuite). Lounge is a good size, with room for 4 to sit and chat comfortably.(rather than so many places where they sleep 4, but have a 2 seater settee and 1 chair) The apartment is even better than the photos.

Enjoyable stay but not meritable for this price point

Location good, bathroom facilities good including hot water, pleasant lounge, clean.

Situation good although at the top of a long and iincreasingly steep hill and access to the apartment was via a steep uneven path. The oven in the kitchen was not clean. Otherwise little things like only 3 teaspoons at the property and only 5 dishwasher tablets for a full week, doors needing adjusting to close properly and similar.

We enjoyed the apartment and it met our needs

The apartment was very nice and easy to access. Two bathrooms was an advantage. Location was good for access to the water front. Parking worked well.

Second shower was hot and cold and kitchen cupboards were located so only really tall people could use them.

Excellent for a family holiday

Excellent location, the flat is bright, comfortable and has plenty of space for the whole family. There are shops and restaurants nearby and it is only a short walk from the lovely Meadfoot beach. Easy communication and any small issues were quickly resolved. Staying here made our first trip with our baby easy and stress free and we will certainly consider staying again if we go back to Torquay.

There was no instruction manual for the induction hob, but we figured it out fairly easily. No other issues!

Beautiful stay in Torquay

The owners Philip and Gary were both very friendly and helpful. Very nice location with easy access to the city centre. Cosy and clean apartment. We slept wonderfully in nice beds. Beautiful view from our apartment. We can highly recommend a stay at The Torcroft Apartments.

Great location and nice and clean and modern with outdoor space.

Lovely location a short stroll to the harbour and restaurants and wine bars 🍷 We had the large apartment with a great bay window we enjoyed sitting in with a lovely view. Everything was clean and it was a great home from home experience.

Constructive criticism would be more crockery including larger glasses and mugs and there weren’t any teaspoons. Would have also appreciated some complementary toiletries even if just attached to the wall ie shampoo and a welcome bottle of wine would have been thoughtful. Sometimes it’s the little small touches that can exceed expectations.
