Liked the parking, location and welcome from Louise, nothing too much trouble, the accommodation was clean and warm with milk coffee and tea and bottled water supplied, beds comfy and nice peaceful break, have stayed in apartment 1 before previously which was also excellent so will definitely return to Allerdale again in the future

enjoyable stay

Parking provided, large room, fridge in the room, milk and water welcome in the fridge, quiet, walking distance to the beach and town.

Limited heating for the first couple of days considering it was the middle of October !... Bathroom cold with no heating at all !...

Lovely break at the Allerdale

Louise shared lots of information in advance. The property was exactly as described, in a great location, very clean and some lovely little touches such as great milk and water in the fridge, tea and coffee.

I did not have breakfast. The accommodation was very quiet, clean & comfortable. The staff were friendly & helpful as was the owner. It was good value for money. I would recommend it highly.

Allerdale is old but clean, tidy and comfortable.

The location was close to the main beach area with lots of eating options. You are on a hill, so be prepared if you are walking. The room was comfortable and roomy.

Off-street parking is available but very tight!

Excellent value

Although a small room, as was made clear, it was bright and nicely presented with good condition carpets throughout the building. The very clean room had an en suite, TV, fridge and desk. Excellent value, especially considering 5 / 10 minute walk to promenade and harbour and free parking. Attentive host with a genuine concern for clients, providing detailed information and guidance when needed.

Fabulous stay, the accommodation was fantastic and spacious with all amenities needed. Very peaceful location with a lovely view. Host was wonderful and very friendly, answered questions quickly. Parking off road included and a space reserved for our flat. Really wonderful experience.

No complaints whatsoever. It’s a shame the pool is not for guest use but the sea is so close it didn’t matter and we knew we had booked somewhere without a pool.

The apartment was clean and had everything we needed with a large comfy bed. Great location too just a few minutes walk to the promenade, the festival and town. Louise was a great host and on hand to help.

There was nothing to dislike. We totally appreciate it wasn’t included with the apartment but we overlooked a small swimming pool out the back. There was a heatwave on and we were a tad envious of the owners enjoying a well earned dip 😀

Comfortable stay and very quiet, on our day of arrival we arrived early and I phoned Louise if it was ok to leave our car there but she actually let us check in which was very much appreciated.

Relaxing, comfortable and exceeded expectations

The property was gorgeous, a hidden treasure. Location was perfect for us as everything was in close walking distance but was just that little bit out of the way so there were no loud noises or disturbances. The facilities were above and beyond for what you pay for, there is everything you could possibly need at your fingertips and if for some reason there wasn’t the lovely Louise was just a phone call away. Louise was very accommodating and helpful during our stay. The room was big and spacious, the bed was exceptionally comfortable and in a whole was the best place I have ever stayed while being in Torquay. I am a frequent travellers to Torquay and will definitely now only book here. Would highly recommend to all.

Relaxing get away.

Very easy to find. Nice to have off street parking. Very comfortable bed, all amenities available. Louise was very helpful and easy to contact. Less than 10 minute walk to the beach front. Bakery,shops,amusements & restaurants all within walking distance.

Wonderfully calm and we felt very welcome.

Easy to access property with a nice parking spot. Everything had been thought of inside, we had all the utensils and equipment we could need, including tea, coffee, milk and sugar - and some bottled water in the fridge. All very appreciated after a long journey. Louise was very attentive and response when we had any questions.

lovely apartment, spotlessly clean and very comfortable, good location and free parking

lovely property - up a couple of flights of stairs - open to a lovely apartment - spotlessly clean, kitchenette was good quality with dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge - the beds were very comfortable and both rooms had ensuites - the larger double bedroom had a rainhead shower which was wonderful - lovely touch with water and milk in fridge.
