Lovely clean, house.

Shower was really powerful. Beds were comfy. Quite dark in the bedroom downstairs especially if the shutters were closed

The top of the stairs curve and the handrail stops, it could be risky for an elderly person as there's nothing to hold.. need a hand rail at the very top of stairs on the left hand side opposite this bannister. There's also a step down from the wooden floor of the lounge to the ceramic one of the kitchen. Again this could be dangerous. You need new scissors as the one in the knife block is blunt. Not really suitable for elderly people. A little downstairs loo somewhere, under the stairs maybe would also be an added bonus.

parking was a little issue, public car park ten minutes away, but not the end of the world. Having bedrooms on different floors not ideal but again not a big issue. The street noise can be a problem if sleeping in the downstairs front room.

Beyond expectations.

Everything was there that was required. A good location, 10min walk into town. Would suit two couples as home is divided with two living rooms.

There was building work, in the homes, yiu couldn't sit iut on the balcony because of the noise, so gave up.

Family Holiday

The house is really nice, plenty of room for a family with adult kids.

Although the house is nice, the smell of weed each time you stepped out of the door put you off, not a very nice location. Plus there is building work going on next door of which we were not made aware of by the owner and we had to listen to drilling at 7.55am one morning and loads of banging during the weeks stay.

Was lovely well appointed house. All you needed. Great location. Comfortable beds. Roof terrace. Mick was quick to reply to questions.

The bath was very deep to get in and out when showering if not very steady on your legs.

Pre Christmas break

The house is simply but stylishly furnished. They have thought of everything, good storage, comfort, equipped kitchen, comfy beds.

Location on main route but it didn't detract from how lovely our stay was.

Great location, very clean and comfortable. Rooftop terrace is a great place to have breakfast or an early evening drink . Highly recommend this property.

Comfortable and spacious accommodation, two living rooms, comfy beds, smart TVs in every room, Google assistant, large kitchen, access to the roof terrace, bathroom is a size of a living room with a beautifully decorated fireplace.

No allocated parking. However, the host assisted to find parking offering a map of the streets where we could park our car free of charge.

Brilliant, Brilliant, Brilliant

Everything, from the initial greeting and where upon entering the property you found all the condiments you require, plus the excellent jam, cream and scones were waiting for us. 😊 The house itself is amazing and has been lovingly restored, but the rooftop terrace is fab and we spent many a hour enjoying the sun and sunbeds. Location wise this to is perfect and only a 10 minute walk to the beach, plus close by there's a number of bars and restaurants. Would we stay here again.... Most definitely and we will be certainly recommend this to all our friends and family.

Nothing at all this property is immaculate and a credit to Mark (the owner), although according to my wife a washing machine was the only thing missing.

Exceptional

The property was very clean and “ smelled nice”. All seating was very comfortable. 4 TVs so no arguing when football was on! Fridge,kettle ,toaster were all new and shiny. Mugs and plates all matched. Cooker was lovely but I didn’t use it as I don’t cook on holiday (apart from toast)

Communication great, very helpful owner. Everything needed for a break away was thought of. Scones & clotted cream a nice surprise. Nice little balcony for outdoor space. Very modern & clean Location walkable to beach & town. Would recommend.

Curtains a little thin in main bedroom but if you are an early riser that doesnt matter. Owner already looking into that, Maybe shutters the same as downstairs.

Everything about our stay was great. The house is walking distance to the town and seafront area so in a great location and the house is brilliant. The rooftop terrace catches the evening sun which was great for Summer evenings. Mark was a great host - the check in process was easy and when we did have questions we got a really quick response.

Fabulous house, very accommodating host and great location to get out and about.

The location was perfect for our purposes which was on the south west costal path route and close enough to have a day on Dartmoor too. The house is beautifully furnished with everything you need for a good stay.

Most people would probably say parking but we only used the car once so didn’t have any issues finding a spot or the four days so not really a problem. This part of Devon is remarkable easy to get around on trains and buses if you wanted to visit the attractions.
