Ok, not great

Hot water, good temperature in the room, clean.

There is not fridge , bed is not good . Breakfast not to rich, was ok but not great. Heavy sink drain.

To be avoided if possible

This is a rating between the 2rooms given for the 2nights. Breakfast is ok, parking is available at the property. Near to train station that brings you to Zurich in 13min for 14eur total back and forth per person. Of course if you are in more person, makes sense to pay the parking in Zurich, avoiding the train high cost.

No air conditioning, windows toward sun are getting hot, they are not even using the window sheds- some of them are missing. The rooms in the old building are so small with the ceiling that is about 2m high, that makes it impossible to breath. Noises from breakfast, because staff is continuously speaking to guests from 7am. Noises from the street, it's on a trafficated street. Quite bad and noisy hotel.

Great option for the Hall concert sleepover

The room was very clean and neat. There was a fan that was good enough to sleep at night during a hot night. 20 minutes walk to the Hall and 7 minutes walk to the train station. The area is quiet and the staff was nice and helpful.

It was not possible to open a window in the room.

It was hot and they provided two small fan but without aircon. With temperature soaring to 30+degrees C this is very uncomfortable to sleep. Hotel is by main road, so quite noisy.

Wonderful couple of days in Dübendorf!

Bed was comfortable, shower was large and wonderful water pressure! Breakfast was a wonderful variety and the coffee was amazing:). Everyone I met was friendly and helpful!

Pleasant small hotel

Very easy self check-in. The single rooms were neat, clean and pleasant. Everything in house 21 looked brand spanking new, although I believe the latest renovation was a few years ago. Breakfast was a notch less varied than I'm used to, but everything was good and the lounge-bar where breakfast is served is quite charming. Just a short stroll away there are several restaurants. There's a limited number of parking spots, but we had no problem getting one.

Oddly, the mattress in my room seemed to tilt to one side, so I woke up several times because I was about to roll out of the bed. I was too tired to get up and see if I could sort it out, and as it was just for one night I wasn't too bothered.

Excellent value for money within driving distance from Zurich center.

The rooms were just big enough, comfortable and nicely decorated. Everything was clean and it looked newly refurbished. The breakfast was nice with freshly baked bread, different salami and sausages, selection of juices and a bar for coffee and tea. They were very forthcoming with our late check in, It took us 10 - 15 minutes to reach Zurich center by car. I would definitely recommend this as excellent value for money!

Not if you travel with a laptop

The hotel's close proximity to a train station in Zurich area, conveniently located a few minutes from both the city centre and the airport, is a significant advantage. The building has been recently renovated.

While staying at the hotel, the power socket in my room did not release my MacBook laptop charger. I was informed by the staff that I was the second guest to face this issue since the building's renovation. Instead of assisting, the hotel simply suggested I purchase a new charger. I had to dismantle the power socket with the electricity on to retrieve my charger, during which I received comments about potential costs if I caused a fuse blow.

It was good!

We have chosen the place for 1 night before next morning flight. It's just 9 km away from the airport. We got the parking included in the rate. The room was spacious and nice. Perfect shower. The staff pleasant, helpful and smiling.

The staff were very very nice, however I wasn’t aware until I got there that no one spoke English, and I have very limited German , still we managed to communicate well enough, and again this is no reflection on the staff at all because as I said they were lovely! I did have an issue also of the night of my stay where someone was trying to enter my room in the early hours, four times to be precise, this was a little unnerving! However I felt like I couldn’t bring it up to the staff in the morning because of the language barrier..so I just let it slide! My guess it was other guests that had the wrong floor/room?

Unique hotel

We arrived from a long day of touring, and the staff were kind and understanding. There was a reasonably priced restaurant on the premises, so we did not need to go look for another. The room was modern, clean and unique. The bed was super comfortable.

Enjoyable and refreshing

The staff were very polite. They kindly let us stow our bags until our room was ready for check in. The room was very clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious and we were able to sit outside during the meal.

The room was a little stuffy because we couldn’t open the windows for a breeze.
