We had wrapped our exciting and awesome trip and at Hotel Dormero was our last night stay in Switzerland, before flying out the next day. We were delighted by our experience engaging with hotels and their staff at all places in Switzerland except Hotel Dormer which makes you wonder whether you are actually in Switzerland. Checkin experience was sub-optimal. Very unwelcoming folks at the reception who do not care to pick the phones, no support/room service picked the phone. The fire alarms started at midnight with a phone call to rush to basement. Someone perhaps smoked in the room. The panic continued for about 20 mins, with no-one from the staff making any efforts to update/clarify. The ACs in the entire hotel were dysfunctional and so was the Wifi. Only saving grace was the breakfast. The lady at the breakfast buffet was attending and caring to refill.

Other than the air conditioning not working, it was great. Mattress was comfy. They provided us with a standing fan.

One of the bad experience we had… no kettle, no fan, no a/c…we definitely won’t advise this to anyone.
