I did not like anything, I walked into the room and walked right out and left the building. It was not clean and not safe.
I did not like anything. Unsafe area of town, difficult to get into the building, unclean.

The only good point is more or less the location, because it is close to the main train station, but at the same time, it is also in the middle of Langestrasse (red-light district of Zurich), so doesn't feel very safe and pleasant. Beds were also ok, bigger than usual.
It was honestly disgusting. The lockers were in very poor condition, even when locked, they could easily be opened if you force them a bit. I got the impression that some people were living there permanently, as there were groceries in the room and it was not clean at all. The common areas, like bathrooms, toilets, kitchen, were disgusting. I didn’t even take a shower because I was afraid of catching something. Everything is broken and nothing looks like it does in the pictures.
On top of that, it’s located in the middle of Langstrasse, a red-light district, and the building looks abandoned, with empty flats, broken windows, and an overall neglected appearance. I honestly don’t understand how a place like this can operate in Switzerland. Even for a hostel, I was not expecting such poor conditions, especially in Switzerland. It's clearly just a place designed to make money, that's all.

I didn’t like anything there
The location was very and and dirty, There is no proper proceeding of check in we have to send our details to a WhatsApp number and have to wait long for reply aslo they ask for more money fir bed sheets, does it make sense? Haven’t hear beafore that you must pay extra for bed sheets actually for dirty bed sheets.

It's ugly, small, not enough bathrooms, noisy, they charge sheets, blankets and towels and smell weird. The location is a bit scary. There's no privacy because you can't lock the doors. The staff entered the room often when we arrived, the pictures are not accurate.

Very dirty. Hard to find the place, Staff treated me awfully. I didn’t have any towels to take a shower. They didn’t have toilet paper in the toilet.

Nothing good about the property.
First, the location is at one the most worst place of Zurich. The property was very dirty , fowl smelling toilets, congested rooms, dirty kitchen , staffs not present most of the time … the experience was way too bad .Booking.com should not promote such properties on their website , otherwise reputation of this website will be down and untreatable.

The hostel is not far from train station. There is a closeby convenience store, Lidl where you can shop.
The beds in the room are very big. There is wall socket close to the bed. There is a kitchen for cooking.
There is need for more improvement in how the hostel is run. The staff opens the room door without knocking. No handwash after using the toilet. No lockers and no privacy curtains. You have to pay to use the lockers.

I stayed at the hostel last night and had a very positive experience. The location is excellent, being very close to the train station, which made it extremely convenient for my travel. The staff were exceptionally cooperative, friendly, and always ready to help with any questions or needs.

The staff in there is very kind!
We supposed to had the reservation for 1 room for 4 people, but instead we received 1 room for 8 people, so we shared room with other 4
Another thing that I didn’t like, is that the hostel just have 2 bathrooms, sometimes it was imposible to get one

I loved the location to the train station. I had EVERYTHING I needed from Aldi to trains to water access on the sea, bus stops all around, it was great.
The exact neighborhood was a magnet for panhandlers but so many major cities are impacted by this. Otherwise, late nights restaurants, bars, cafes and minute markets were all over near the hostel.

The staff was pretty nice, greetings to Oscar and the owner!, the location might give you a wrong vibe of what it really is. It’s not even dangerous, just a “curious” city block tho :) you can chill, no need to actually worry about! Best Cheap option in center, next to train station (Hauptbahnhof). Enjoy the city!
Might look scary to some people. It’s not!

The easy check in online was nice. Clarified with person instantly
There was trash and flies everywhere. Everyone was smoking. No receptionist when the hours said there should be one. Our bed assignment was slept in. We had to pay for sheets per person but we were using one bed.

Nothing. I couldn’t stay there after seen people having crack outside the facility. I went up and some of the same people outside were staying there. The check in area was a real mess! And the common areas were dirty and messy!

Staff were very nice and accommodating
It was in quite a dodgy area and not many supermarkets near would not walk around at night

The owner and the manager were great people. Very kind and professionals
Oscar!!! makes this place a toxic one. He works there and lives there as well. Very unprofessional as he gets comfortable with you he starts to make advances of every kind. Making the environment toxic and uncomfortable. Be mindful of his approach. I checked out earlier because of him.

Some of the staff members were good.
This property is in very bad neighborhood, it felt really dangerous while coming back after my excursion. All the washrooms were insanely unclean. I would not recommend this property for any solo travelers.

The beds were clean and comfortable, quickly in the city center, the people working there were lovely
The hostel failed to mention that the property is in a very sketchy area, police, clubs, drugs and drunk people everywhere. I arrived late at night and felt incredibly uncomfortable walking to the location. On the steps to the hostel sits a group of junkies openly taking drugs, I had to wait for a male guest to help me get into the hostel. Also you can’t lock the bedroom door which made me feel uncomfortable as I slept.

We were threatened by the cleaning man of death when we were asking for our bags that they kept before the check-in time and he didn’t want to give us the bags back. We didn’t stay in the hostel because of that. And all the experience was awful, it was very hard and uncomfortable to find the dor off the hostel, that is in the red light district of the city. We arrived Saturday morning so the streets were full of empty bottles, the clubs were still open and there were prostitutes in every other corner. The image of the building in the picture is not the building of the hostel, the real one is very shity and shady, the elevator didn’t work, the hostel were very small and the kitchen was discussing. Has if it was not enough the roof top was nothing like the pictures, very dirty and half of the things were broken, there were also some girls in the middle of the very small entry straightening their hair and a guy cooking something that smelled way to strong in a disgusting cooktop. In top of everything, the refund never had an answer from them. Totally don’t recommend.

The place is located in a very unsafe area and the elevator does not work. I had to carry the bags to the 4th floor. The place was also very smelly and they forced me to pay an additional tax of 10 euros

Nice compfy bed, really good for a hostel.
Location at all is langstrassenviertel so much of homeless etc .. but … you’re in the middle of everything.

Its a good hostel with friendly staff and comfortable beds. Specially thanks to Oscar. He'll make sure all your needs are met, and is prompt to help you with any requirements. Its a social hostel, and they have amenities to cook and a nice terrace.
The area/location is not the best. And sadly its what lets the place down. Alot of addicts/prostitutes. But if you're looking for a genuine experience, and a real insight into Zurich. Then do not shy away.

The bed sheet were clean and comfortable.
9 people in 3 bunkbeds in tiny room. About 25 people sharing 2 bathrooms with shower plus One extra toilet room. Questionable neighborhood with sex shops close by and drunks outside loud until early morning.

The girl at the reception was quite nice.
The location was AWFUL. I arrived at approximately 10 pm and I was terrified to see people around. You can look it up and see that the hostel is located in the city's red-light district. I got hit on more than two times -both at night and in the morning-.There were addicts ALL AROUND. The streets were very loud until the morning and there was a fight outside. Even though it's pretty cheap it surely is not worth it. Also, keep in mind that you might not find the hostel quickly since its name is only written in a piece of paper downstairs.

It was quite clean.
The area it was in was really bad and the owner was also acting weirdly. The room was really noisy because of the clubs around it.

This was an inexpensive option at the time and close to the bus station. Kitchen is a plus. The place is also close to several nightclubs.
Not clean and old. It’s a decent option for one night only…

The told us to make the check in at 3:00 pm and we went to the hostel to try to leave the luggage paying 10 CHF like they explained us.
At the door of the hostel they have 1 paper explaining is. not allowed to make the check in between 00:00 until 10:00 a:m. So we tried to leave the stuffs at 9:30 a:m and was -6C outside so we wait there because mo ones was working at this moment to ask about leaving the luggage and when they appeared they said that we have to pay 25 CHF per each bed for have waited there.

The receptionist is nice and friendly. We were able to cook food, use microwave in the hostel for free.
The neighbourhood was noisy or loud even if it is already past 10pm.

For the normal pricing in Zürich, this hostel is definitely a great option. It's a 15 minutes walk from the train station. I got to see the main highlights with no issue.
This is a great and balanced option.
Lockers are for free, but I had to pay a deposit of 20 euros by card.
20 euros is a little bit too high for a deposit, especially when you have to pay by card and need to wait 100 business weeks for your bank to reimburse your money.
Also, it seems that there's a sexual club nearby and sexual workers were all over the place. I'm not against it, but it felt a bit weird when walking towards the hostel.
