Carrick's at Castle Farm

The cottage was lovely, thoughtfully equipped and beautifully decorated. Fresh towels, milk, tea, coffee, etc., plus nice toiletries in the bathroom. Even a picnic basket. The location is amazing! Incredibly tranquil, with nature all around. A crystal-clear river runs beside the property. We sat by the river one evening with a glass of wine and saw all sorts of wildlife, including a Kingfisher. There's a lovely pub called Darbys a 15-minute walk from the property, which serves delicious food and good wine and beers. Remember to book. The breakfast at the B & B was exceptional. I started with a fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, muesli, and local honey. There was then a wide choice of cooked breakfasts, all made with local produce. The service is also excellent. The whole team is excellent. We will be back. I highly recommend this property.

Glorious, traditional old English farmhouse with just a ‘home’ feel from the outset.
